Missing dad and baby last seen in Sydney’s Royal National Park found following urgent search

A desperate search has been called off after a man and baby missing in Sydney’s south have been located safe and sound.

Ben Cullen, 39, and his three-month-old son Roam on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive in the Royal National Park in Sydney’s south about 8.15pm on Thursday.

Concerned relatives contacted NSW Police after the couple failed to return home and could not be located or contacted.

Police launched a desperate search and issued a missing person alert around midnight as part of a public appeal.

After making inquiries, Mr Cullen and his son returned home at around 6.30am on Friday.

Police thanked the community for their help.
