Restricted free agent Miles Bridges is willing to sign his $7.9 million offer from the Charlotte Hornets, according to reports.
Talks about a long-term deal between Bridges and the Hornets stalled and the 25-year-old decided to end negotiations with the team.
Instead of getting an offer sheet from another team or a sign-and-trade, Bridges agreeing to the one-year deal will pave the way for him to be an unrestricted free agent next season.
Bridges will still face a 10-game suspension after pleading no-game on the domestic violence case that saw him miss the entire 2022-2023 season. His suspension was originally 30 games, but the league decided to shorten it to 10 based on the missed season.
