Michelle was joined by her co-stars, including Joseph Gilgun, who plays Vinnie O'Neil, Ryan Sampson, who plays Tommo, and Joanna Higson, who plays Sugar, among others.

Last week Michelle confirmed she had wrapped her scenes from series six when she reshared a video filmed by castmate Bhavna Limbachia.

It was the final day of filming for the sixth series this year, before the cast split up for Christmas, with a caption confirming that Michelle had wrapped up.

Michelle flashed a huge grin as she marked the occasion in a snap with co-stars Ryan, Joanna, Aaron Blu Doyle-Heffernan, Bronagh Gallagher (Carol), Parth Thakerar (JJ).

Michelle recently hinted that Erin will get into trouble with a gas can, which she and Carol (Bronagh Gallagher) will use to refill an elderly couple's car.

The series follows Vinnie O'Neill (Joseph) and his five friends, including Michelle's character Erin.

The comedy follows the group as they struggle to make ends meet in the fictional town of Hawley, often resorting to petty crime for money.

When Dylan's girlfriend Erin (Michelle) wants to make a fresh start in a new city, Dylan (Damien Molony) is torn between following her or staying with the friends he considers brothers.

The BAFTA-nominated series began in 2019, when season four of the show was released on Sky Max and Now TV last August.

It comes after Brassic star Neil Ashton revealed he asked co-star Michelle to invite her husband Mark Wright to the comedy show.

In an interview with The mirrorNeil said he's going to ask Michelle to get Mark involved in a cameo, but he's worried he's “too handsome.”

He said: 'Michelle is one of the sweetest people. And Mark too, they're so good together, those two. They have a very nice chemistry.'

Neil added: “I've known Michelle for a lot longer, so when you hear about someone you always hope they'll be nice. Did he ever have a cameo? I don't know, I'll message Michelle and ask her. But he's too handsome, way too handsome.'

Michelle and Mark have been married since 2015.

Brassic will reportedly be axed after the next series as the cast look to leave the Sky comedy to work on other projects.
