Michael Owen gushes over rarely seen daughter Emily as he celebrates her birthday in Dubai

Michael Owen shared a rare photo of his daughter Emily on Instagram on Sunday as he celebrated her birthday.

The former England footballer, 42, gushed over the teenager, saying she is “proud and joyful” as she turned 15 during their lavish family outing in Dubai.

The doting dad posted the sweet photo of himself and Emily in front of the Dubai skyline at night.

Michael cut a slim figure in a black Balmain T-shirt that he paired with matching jeans and trainers.

Meanwhile, Emily dressed to impress in a glamorous hot pink and black bodycon mini dress.

The beauty paired the number with a black handbag and elevated her frame in a pair of sky-high lace-up heels.

Michael gushed: ‘Congratulations @emily.0wen10 You are my pride and joy. X’.

Emily is the soccer star’s third child with childhood sweetheart Louise Bonsall.

The couple also share Gemma, 19, James, 16, and Jessica, 12, and live in their £4 million Cheshire mansion.

The football pundit is currently soaking up the sun on a luxury holiday with his family, which includes eldest daughter Gemma Owen and her Love Island beau Luca Bish.

Michael also shared a family photo of his entire clan and friends as he enjoyed a boat ride in the exotic location.

Recently, Gemma took her father Michael as her date to the National Television Awards, leaving her boyfriend Luca Bish at home.

The Love Island star looked incredible in a glitzy gold dress as her famous dad gushed about how proud he was of her.

Speaking to MailOnline, the former footballer, 42, said: ‘Really proud of all four’ [children]. My kids, clearly Gemma is the oldest, you know, I had no doubts when she went to the show and no doubts about her future, really.

‘She has a sensible, mature head. So yes, we are very proud of them.’

When he advised her to go public, he added: “She has been observed. She sees what it’s like to be in the public eye.

“She sees the ups and downs and everything else that sort of thing and she’s, she’s mentally quite smart. So she would have picked up a lot from you know from the big boss of the house.’
