But popular fashion designer Desiree Deravi has really moved on since their breakup.
Desiree’s two clothing brands have gone from strength to strength in the years since her romance with her famous ex ended, and she managed to navigate her businesses through the Covid-19 pandemic with great success.
“The pandemic has undoubtedly been challenging for everyone – emotionally, physically and of course financially,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘We had to move quickly to keep the company running and especially to keep my staff working. It was a huge learning experience as a business owner.”

The founder of the label of the same name Desiree Deravi And B/W/F now divides her time between Los Angeles and Bali, where her clothes are manufactured.
“In LA I have everything at my fingertips, where Bali is all about surf culture,” she said.
Desiree is living the high life in Tinseltown, working with several A-lister actors and even living in the same East Hollywood apartment complex as The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge.
Desiree says the larger-than-life actress is exactly what you would expect her to be.
“I’m not great at recognizing celebrities, but I was impressed with Jennifer Coolidge, who lives in my apartment building,” she explained.
“She’s exactly what you’d imagine: quirky and eccentric.”
Several other celebrities also call the same apartment complex home, including Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen and musician Beck.

“They’re all so normal and nice, you forget they’re big stars,” Desiree said.
‘I’ve seen Angelina Jolie with a pack of security in my local supermarket.
“But that’s how it is here (LA), celebrity encounters happen every day here, it’s crazy.”
Looking to the future, Desiree says she hopes to continue consciously contributing to the global fashion industry and supporting local artists.
‘After working with Daimon Downey, I would like to do more collaborations with artists. It was a lot of fun and I think we executed that really well,” she explained.
As for her love life, she has also moved on from Klim.
“I’m seeing someone right now, that’s all I can say,” she said.
“He is American and because he travels a lot, the time apart is good for us, we make a conscious effort to be present when we are together.”
Michael is now in a relationship with DJ Michelle Owen
Michael and Desiree Deravi split in 2019 and confirmed the split when they quietly unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Michael started dating Desiree after his marriage to ex-wife Lindy Rama-Ellis ended in 2016.
The couple, who were married for ten years, share three children together: daughters Stella and Frankie and son Rocco.
After his breakup with Desiree, Michael started a relationship with Michelle Owen and they are still together.
