A family was traumatized after a man threatened to kill a pregnant mother and her unborn baby in a terrifying carjacking attempt.
Shruthi Sheshagiri and Mahesh Sriramaiah were in their vehicle and stopped in Huntingdale, Melbourne for fuel at an Ampol petrol station around 9:30 pm on March 17.
While they were sitting in the backseat with their five-year-old son, a man immediately started kicking their car.
In a completely unprovoked attack, the man yelled at the family and threatened to kill Ms. Sheshagiri and her unborn baby.
He tried to get into the car while Mr. Sriramaiah locked the doors.

CCTV showed the moment when the unnamed man kicked the passenger door after a running jump.
“I (was) very, very afraid. I yelled at my husband to start the car,” Sheshagiri told 9 News.
“As soon as he saw me that I was pregnant, he started to get very angry and also started banging the window.
Her husband added: “He kicked the car and the car shook and my wife started screaming loudly.
“My brain froze and I didn’t react at all.”

“I can’t even put myself in their position.
