Fans of former First Lady Melania Trump reacted angrily after Vice President Kamala Harris received a digital Vogue cover from the fashion magazine.
The cover was unveiled Friday morning, featuring Harris in a dark suit paired with Tiffany’s $800 pearl earrings.
The package was rivaled by a beaming profile of Harris on the campaign trail with photos by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
That struck Melania Trump’s supporters as deeply unfair, as the glamorous First Lady never got a Vogue profile or cover while her husband was president, or even after the recent publication of her new memoir.
‘To suggest. Vogue – a now silly, decrepit shell of what it once was – has never put America’s most glamorous woman on its cover, Melania Trump,” the conservative wrote author Pamela Geller.
“But this heavily photoshopped skank gets an election cover, just like Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Jacinda Ardern.”
Harris has been on the cover of Vogue twice, once when she was first elected vice president and now again when she ran for president.

“Melania is still much more beautiful, in fact, she is the most beautiful FLOTUS ever,” wrote X user Kyle Holte.
“Furthermore, she didn’t lie to the American people about Biden’s dementia for four years. And Melania didn’t oversee the invasion of America like this creature. Maybe use a little more discernment next time. ‘
‘No respect for the Vogue cover since we couldn’t cover Melania…sorry,’ wrote Theresa Deluca on X.
“First Lady Melania Trump has been in the public eye extensively since 2015 and has never been on the cover of Vogue.” wrote Ada Lluch Mannarino on social media. ‘She is a real fashion model who is published worldwide.’

‘In four years, Melania Trump (who is beautiful) has never been on the cover of Vogue once. This ugly, empty-headed nunce has been on it twice, how,’ wrote X user Just Donna.
Other Trump supporters speculated that the Vogue cover could indicate a harbinger of doom for Harris, recalling that Jill Biden was given a Vogue cover just before her husband left his re-election campaign for president.
‘Do you remember the last time Vogue Dr. Jill placed on the cover? ” asked Andreas Visser. “Only a few days later Joe was gone. Is this what they call the Vogue curse? “

In 2022, Melania Trump was asked by Fox and Friends Pete Hegseth to respond to the magazine’s apparent bias, noting that in addition to being the First Lady, she also had a modeling and business career, which earned her a profile with the fashion magazine.
‘They are biased. They have likes and dislikes, and it’s so obvious and I think the American people and everyone sees it,” Melania Trump responded.
“It was their decision and I have much more important things to do and I did them in the White House than be on the cover of Vogue.”
