Melania Trump breaks silence in dramatic new video about quality of life and cost of living in America as she blasts attempts to silence her husband Donald

Melania Trump criticized the Biden administration in a rare public statement over the high cost of living and what she herself has silenced her husband about.

The former first lady kept her distance from the press and even her husband’s campaign, making a quiet appearance at the Republican Party convention in July after the attempted assassination of the former president.

She posted a black-and-white video on social media on Sunday, following Thursday’s announcement of her upcoming memoir, leaving no doubt about her position ahead of her husband’s fight to reclaim the White House.

Melania began by saying, “The 2020 election results changed our lives forever. It affected our quality of life, food costs, gas, safety, and even the geopolitical landscape.”

She then claimed that “America is more divided today than ever before,” before launching into a fierce attack on the justice system’s treatment of her husband.

‘It has become increasingly clear that freedom of expression is facing serious challenges, as evidenced by the attempts to silence my husband.’

The video shows Trump repeating her words as she speaks them. It then shows a photo of a blank white book with only the word “MELANIA” written in capital letters. The photo links to her website, where she can pre-order the new book.

A promo copy of the book reads: ‘Melania is the powerful and inspiring story of a woman who defined personal excellence, overcame adversity, and forged her own path. The former First Lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who lived an extraordinary life.’

The book also features “stories and images never before shared with the public.”

Melania retails for $40, a signed copy costs $75, and a collector’s edition costs $250.

Her book will be released on October 1st. It will be available for pre-order on Amazon for $30.

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” she said in a video posted to her social media accounts on Thursday.

“As a private individual who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth.”

The 48-second video begins with the former first lady speaking directly to the camera. It also features scenes from her time in the White House, including her trip to Africa and her work on her Be Best campaign.

Melania Trump announced in July that she would release her memoirs, a shocking announcement from the normally reticent first lady.

In the book, she looks back on her Slovenian childhood, the defining moments that led her to the world of haute couture in Europe and New York, and the chance meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that changed the course of her life forever, according to the summary.

‘Melania opens up about their courtship, life in the spotlight and experiencing the joys of motherhood. She shares behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, and highlights her work as an advocate and the causes close to her heart.’

“Melania” is published by Skyhorse Publishing, which published former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz, among others.

Many biographies and books have been written about the former first lady, but this is the first time she tells her story.

It’s unclear whether she’s worked with a co-author or whether she’s going on a book tour.

Melania Trump, 54, is something of an enigma in public life.

Donald Trump’s third wife is very much introverted and spent much of her time in the White House raising her son Barron, who was still a teenager at the time.

Her son is now a student at New York University’s Stern School of Business, and her husband is running for a second term in the White House.

After the Trumps left the White House in January 2021, Melania Trump remained in the background.

She has not been heavily involved in her husband’s 2024 White House campaign.

She attended his campaign announcement and the Republican National Convention, where, unlike other candidates’ spouses, she chose not to address the delegates.

She has not yet appeared at a campaign rally.

She also missed the first presidential debate and has done everything she can to distance herself from her husband’s legal troubles.

She organized two fundraisers for Log Cabin Republicans, a conservative LGBTQ group.

Financial disclosure reports showed thatThe former first lady earns a significant income from speaking fees, rented properties in New York and Slovenia, and her non-fungible token (NFT) license agreement.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com about Melania’s role in the campaign and whether we might see more of her between now and November.

“Well, I’d like to. That’s not the point. It’s a bad world for me,” he said, six weeks after a hitman’s bullet had shot through his ear.

“It’s not bad for Democrats like it is for me. And I wish my family didn’t have to go out and stand up for some of the things that you know are going on.”

Melania, he said, cares deeply about the country.

“She’ll do whatever it takes. But my children haven’t been treated right,” he said. “She hasn’t been treated right.”

Melania has chosen her moments carefully. She received a thunderous reception at the party convention in Milwaukee and issued a public statement after the assassination attempt on her husband, calling on people to remember that love was worth more than political differences.

For Trump, it’s one thing to be getting the bullets and the rocks, but it’s quite another to have his family in the firing line.

“My children have given up so much, and all they’ve done is get blamed for Russia, Russia, Russia and all these hoaxes, you know, misinformation, disinformation,” he said.

“I don’t want them to be affected by the terrible things that Democrats want to do.”
