Megyn Kelly has criticized a Washington Post columnist for calling Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff a “modern-day sex symbol.”
The journalist lashed out at columnist Catherine Rampell on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Monday after she wrote a laudatory piece about Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband.
Rampell’s article portrayed Emhoff as someone from the “modern female fantasy”: a man “confident enough in his own masculinity to sometimes put his wife’s ambitions above his own.”
Rampell also called Emhoff a “handsome guy,” a “dreamer” and an “achieving alpha male” who “doesn’t feel threatened when his wife feels threatened.”
The former Fox News star accused Rampell of writing “nonsense” to curry favor with left-wing readers after an earlier article criticizing Harris’ economic plan.

This comes after Dailymail.com exclusively revealed that Emhoff’s first marriage ended after he cheated on her and impregnated her child’s nanny, who also taught at their children’s expensive private school.
“Do you know who Catherine Rampell is?” Kelly asked.
“That name may ring a bell, because she’s the one who wrote the piece that shot Kamala’s economic plan to pieces because of the high prices. She said, ‘This is ridiculous. If they accuse you of being a communist, maybe don’t propose communism as your economic plan.’ And she was swept off the table by her readers on the left.”
“So a week later she writes this crap, trying to rehabilitate her leftist syndrome,” Kelly continued.
Kelly also stressed that Emhoff “cheated on his first wife with the nanny he got pregnant.”
Rampell’s article portrayed Emhoff as someone from the “modern female fantasy”: a man “confident enough in his own masculinity to sometimes put his wife’s ambitions above his own.”
“Either they aborted the child or he abandoned it,” Kelly claimed. “Either way, no bueno.”
“The media is absolutely disgusting,” Kelly scoffed.

The woman, Najen Naylor, 47, did not deny the story when DailyMail.com contacted her at her home in The Hamptons.
Emhoff admits to having an affair, but it is unclear whether the woman’s pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
