Meghan Markle danced and sang along to Sam Ryder’s ‘Mountain’ during the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, new footage shows.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, apparently knew the lyrics to the Eurovision star’s song, which he performed after the seven-day sporting event in Germany which concluded on Saturday evening.
The Essex-born pop star, 34, took to Instagram to share a clip of his performance, approaching the royal in the front row.
Wearing a strapless Cult Gaia dress worth £830, Meghan danced and sang alongside Sam – much to the crowd’s delight.
Sam himself seemed delighted with the performance and shared the clip on Instagram.

Prince Harry and Meghan stood shoulder to shoulder with Sam and Rita Ora, who also performed at the ceremony.
The couple often chats with celebrities near their home in Montecito, California, so Saturday was no exception.
Prince Harry, who served in the British Army for 10 years and completed two tours of Afghanistan, has created a Paralympic-style competition for wounded, sick and injured military personnel and veterans, with the first event taking place in 2014.
Rita wowed in a glamorous dress as she posed backstage with the royal couple before taking to the stage to perform six of her hit songs.
The singer gave a very energetic performance as she showed off her impressive vocals and ran across the stage to entertain the crowd.
Rita wore sheer criss-cross tights that showed off her slim pins, and a matching long-sleeved jacket over it.

The royal couple are used to working with A-list celebrities, having had close ties with the likes of Serena Williams and Misha Nonoo for years. They also recently met Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey.
Others in the Sussexes’ trusted circle include Gayle King, Misan Harriman and Sophie Trudeau, as well as Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Tyler Perry has become one of Harry and Meghan’s closest friends since they moved to California – but they first connected before their 2018 wedding.
During the Invictus Games, Meghan also sang along to Sweet Caroline and was pictured dancing in the crowd.
Meghan is no stranger to enjoying the boogie and was recently pictured in footage from her days as an actress in US legal drama Suits.
The clip – which was filmed in 2012 by co-star Patrick J. Adams but posted to Instagram last week – features the royal family’s Suits co-stars and crew, including Rick Hoffman, who played Louis Litt in the legal drama , as well as Patrick’s wife Troian Bellisario, who is also an actor.

The footage appears to be taken in a darkened bar – most likely in Toronto, where Suits was filmed – and shows Rick animatedly singing along to the song before the camera pans to Meghan and Troian.
“April 1, 2012,” Patrick simply captioned the post.
It comes as Patrick, who played Meghan’s husband in the legal drama, has changed his Instagram profile to reference the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Toronto-born actor, 42, described himself as: “the guy from that show you watch on that app because that girl married that prince.”
Suits tells the story of Mike Ross (played by Adams) as a courageous law student who moves his law firm into a prestigious law firm and falls in love with beautiful paralegal Rachel Zane (played by Markle).
