Gabourey Sidibe and her husband Brandon Frankel introduced their newborn twins Cooper and Maya in a series of heartwarming family photos shared Friday.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 41, looked radiant and cheerful as she cradled her new bundles of joy next to her loving husband.
In the photos, the American Horror Story alum wore a stylish orange dress while holding baby Cooper, who looked adorable in a blue and white striped onesie.
Meanwhile, Maya, dressed in a pink and white onesie, rested comfortably in her father’s arms as he looked down at her proudly.
The twins were born in early April and have brought their parents immense joy, with Gabourey sharing the heartfelt inspiration behind their names.

“Brandon always wanted to name his son Cooper, so we call him ‘Coop,’ and Maya was named shortly before our baby moon on the Riviera Maya in Mexico,” Sidibe told Shutterstock.
“Both twins have traditional West African middle names, named after members of my family,” she added.
“They are both extremely strong and hilarious, even though they have yet to really interact,” she continued.
“Cooper will sometimes speak for Maya and warn us that she is about to spit up,” she explained.
‘Maya loves having her name sung to her and is the queen of comedic timing, and Cooper loves his sleep and has the funniest facial expressions. They both love to cuddle with mom and dad,” she added.
The twins had their own ideas about when they wanted to enter the world.
The new parents told how they went in for a routine appointment and were told the babies would be born later that day instead of their original plan.
And now that they’re settling in as a family of four, the actress is looking forward to all the little milestones along the way.
“We are excited about outfits and dressing them up, for sing-alongs, outings and exploring, and raising them to be good people,” she said.
Gabourey revealed she was pregnant at a BabyList event in February.

‘I am pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility, so we’re giving each of them a baby to care for!’ Sidibe wrote in her Instagram caption.
‘Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Double delivery soon! Twenty Twenty Four!!”
Gabourey revealed on Live With Kelly and Ryan in early December 2022 that she had been married to Brandon for more than a year.
‘Surprise! I can finally publicly call her my wife! Since @gabby3shabby finally let the word out today on Live with Kelly and Ryan – we’ve been married since March ’21!’ Brandon wrote on his Instagram page.
