Is called! Maura Higgins showed off her stunning figure in a white bikini as she posed for Instagram photos during a luxury getaway in the Maldives on Sunday
She chatted with ex-Islander Kem Cetinay on Capital Late Show on Monday as she recalled taking part in the ‘epic’ brand new show.
‘Love Island Games is very different from the average Love Island. I mean, people really wanted to win, they took this very seriously, you know, very strategically, and I was quite shocked because people took it so seriously that it was the only thing they cared about,” Maura said.
“There was still some love interest, but not as much. What a show. I was lucky enough to watch it. Like because I obviously interviewed all the excited islanders. And honestly, it’s epic.”
Kem, 27, who also guest-hosted an episode on Love Island Games, told Maura: ‘So you were obviously the social host, Maya Jama was the host, and Iain Stirling in the voiceovers was very similar to the one in Britain , but one difference There were many different nationalities, so they were Great Britain, the US, Australia, France, Sweden and Germany.
‘So islanders from all these different countries. Wasn’t it weird? For example, wasn’t there a bit of a culture barrier in terms of talking and humor, maybe flirting?’ he asked.
‘Yes, there were a few moments where people couldn’t hear each other. But I think it was more like all the British participants stuck together. And then all the Americans stayed together. It went something like this. But it’s very interesting. Very, very interesting,” Maura revealed.
In an attempt to tease fans, Kem said: ‘Yeah, look, I didn’t want to say anything, I’d leave it until later. But Maura and I have a little announcement. Do you want to tell them? I want you to tell them!’
“Well, I was lucky enough that Kem flew over and hosted one of the challenges with me, we had a lot of fun,” Maura revealed.
‘We had so much fun. I was so nervous flying to Fiji alone. And yes, we organized a challenge together. It was called ‘She’s a catch’ and we had a great time,” the entrepreneur added enthusiastically.
Exciting: It comes after Maura discussed the exciting experience of hosting the new Love Island Games and revealed she wasn’t ‘too polite’ to ex Curtis Pritchard
Highly anticipated: In the wake of the big reveal of the Love Island Games cast, made up of a slew of stars from previous series, fans swarmed Twitter to revel in the potential awkwardness of the reunion between Islanders from previous seasons
“It was so strange going in at this time like I was doing the slow-mo walk with you and stuff. It was a little weird because you were walking the very sexy Maura and I was walking next to you and thinking, ‘what am I supposed to do now on this slow-mo walk? Should I just smile? Am I trying to act sexy? I don’t even know if I can act sexy.
‘But no, it was really good. It was just weird going in because I wasn’t an islander,” Kem joked as he recalled the experience.
“It’s weird,” Maura said as Kem repeated, “It was weird.”
“It’s weird being on the other side because obviously we were like contestants on the show and then we walk in there. It’s really crazy,” the model said.
The Irish stunner also discussed seeing ‘too familiar’ faces in the new show, including her ‘ex’ Curtis Pritchard.
As Kem cheekily asked Maura if he should actually call Curtis her ‘ex’, he added: ‘Well, we really have to say ex these days. Your reaction made it a bit weird, didn’t it?’
“You know what, everyone is really excited about this because they obviously know that I should have interviewed him if he got dumped from the show or if he made it to the finals,” she explained.
“So yeah, we could run in there. So yeah, I mean, I don’t know how much I can say, but… it was interesting.”
“I’m sure an interview will happen at some point,” Kem asked.
And Maura spilled the beans when she revealed: ‘Yes, there is an interview. Like, I don’t really know if I can say that or not. But I mean, there’s an interview and I’m trying to think back to how it went, like I think it was good, I think I was nice. I think.
“I think there were times where I wasn’t too… polite, but I think I was more of a joke about it,” she explained.
