Nineties acting icon Matt Dillon seems to be embracing his later years.
During the Cannes Film Festival in France this week, the 60-year-old Tex actor was spotted with some silver strands in his light brown, carefully cut mane.
The actor normally has very dark brown hair, but on Wednesday he looked like he was starting to welcome the silver fox style.
Dillon wore a dark blazer with a black shirt and gray jeans as he attended the photo call for Being Maria at Palais des Festivals. In the film he plays Marlon Brando.
The New York native has had a long and varied career with classics such as Drugstore Cowboy (1989) and big hits such as There is Something About Mary (1998), in which his then girlfriend Cameron Diaz played the leading role.
Matt has also been thrust into the spotlight lately when he met Angelina Jolie while she was at an event for her stage version of The Outsiders; Dillon starred in the film version of the story in the 1980s.

His new film Being Maria is about the rise of Maria Schneider after Last Tango in Paris.
Dillon plays her Tango costar Marlon Brando. Maria is played by Anamaria Vartolomei.
The film partly follows the controversial production and shocking consequences of Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1972 masterpiece.
The Academy Award nominee made his film debut in Over the Edge (1979).
Jane Bernstein and a friend assisted director Jonathan Kaplan in casting the teenage boy in the drama Over the Edge.
They came across Dillon noodles at Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont.
Dillon auditioned for a role and got it. Dillon’s performance was well received.
He was also a teenager when he starred in the classic 1980 film My Bodyguard. He played a high school bully opposite Chris Makepeace.
He next worked with Tatum O’Neal in the sex comedy Little Darlings (1980), in which he had scenes with Kristy McNichol.
And then came Liar’s Moon (1982), The Flamingo Kid (1984) and Tex (1982).
By the time he starred in Rumble Fish (1983) and The Outsiders (1983) he was a real teen heartthrob.
