The Australian football champions’ Olympic qualifier against Chinese Taipei was the 8th most watched show of the evening, scoring a whopping 456,000 viewers in the metro TV ratings.
The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition was another strong ratings performer for Ten on Wednesday.
The reality travel competition, hosted by Beau Ryan, attracted 328,000 viewers in urban areas.
The news wasn’t as popular for Channel Nine, where the return season of dating show My Mum, Your Dad continued to shed viewers.

Based on a popular American format, the reality series and presented by Kate Langbroek of KIIS FM, the show managed to attract only 279,000 fans in the major centers.
Tuesday’s season premiere, meanwhile, drew 290,000 fans in the metro ratings, down 26 percent from the show’s debut episode in 2022, reports Television tonight.
Love Island Australia also performed poorly.
Dating show Nine attracted just 95,000 fans in major centers on Wednesday.
On Network Seven, the SAS Australia final failed to crack the top ten biggest shows overnight.
Still, the real-life survival/adventure series delivered a robust metro rating of 351,000 fans.
Home and Away, also on Seven, was a disappointment for the channel on Wednesday.

The much-loved soap attracted 398,000 fans in the capitals, a poor performance in what was a strong year for the long-running hit.
Seven won the evening in total with 26 percent of the audience.
And in a rare outcome, Channel 10 and Nine finished level with a 24.1 percent share.
The ABC ended the evening in fourth place with 18.2 percent of the audience.
