In an interview with Ny Breaking Australia, the 26-year-old groom, who took part in the Channel Nine experiment in 2022, shared his thoughts on which newlyweds have the potential to go the extra mile and make it through the final vows.
Surprisingly, Jonathan McCullough and Lauren Dunn top the list.
“Lauren, you look like hard work… but Jono, you look like someone who’s going to tame her,” he said.
Another couple who received Al’s seal of approval are Richard Sauerman and Andrea Thompson.

Timothy Smith and Lucinda Light, along with Tim Calwell and Sara Mesa, were also among those who Al believed would not last due to incompatible personalities and interests.
Finally, Al expressed his doubts about Ben Walters and Ellie Dix’s relationship, candidly saying, “I don’t let stuff like that fool me.” I can see between the lines that you won’t last.’
