Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis Shares Devastating Family News: ‘I Have No Words To Describe The Grief And Heartache’

Martha Kalifatidis has lost her beloved grandfather.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the Married At First Sight star shared several images of her beloved Papou, along with a touching caption.

‘Last week my beautiful papou passed away. I have no words to describe the sadness and heartache but I want to share a story,” the 35-year-old wrote.

“A few weeks ago, Telstra sent someone to fix the Wi-Fi at my grandparents’ house. Papou had just been to the market and brought home pizza,” she continued.

He offered the technician pizza “don’t be shy, you have to eat”.

The man politely declined, so Papou went to his garden and planted a small chilli plant for the man to take home as he said he liked chilli.

‘That was him anyway. So generous. He treated this stranger like an old friend. He spread kindness wherever he went. If you knew him, you worshiped him.

‘The most loving, caring, sweet, romantic, funny and (sometimes brutally) honest man. He did everything for us. He taught us to live life to the fullest.

“I miss you already. I love you forever my beautiful papouli. Here are some of my favorite photos of him living his best life,” she concluded.
