Shannon explained in the captions that he has been working on improving both his physical and mental health.

“Everything happens in your life for a reason and for the better! Anyway, whether it’s a lesson or a blessing,” he said.

“It will help you become stronger physically and mentally and give you the power to transform.”

On Monday, the MAFS groom claimed he was a meth addict in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia.

He talked about his secret health struggles and the real medication he is on.

‘Absolutely not! I’m not a meth addict,” Shannon said.

Shannon, who now works as an UberEats driver, explained that he was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, after which he began taking dexamfetamine – also known as “Dexies” – a drug that was prescribed and closely monitored by his doctors.

On Monday, Shannon denied the allegation that he was a meth addict in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia

“It’s a long, challenging process to get diagnosed and treated for ADHD. Only those who have experienced it would understand my thought process.” he explained.

Shannon was not diagnosed until after filming the Channel Nine experiment, meaning he was not given any medication during the show or his childhood.

He jokingly added, “Had I been on meth, I would have been wide awake during those 4am pledge ceremonies, not glassy-eyed and ready to fall asleep.”
