Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn has unleashed former groom Jono McCullough, claiming his recent comments about her behavior on the show are ‘100 per cent made up’.
Jono recently opened up about a heated moment during the latest reunion episode where Lauren’s actions and reports that she had a secret Bali boyfriend before the show were publicly criticized by co-star Jayden Eynaud.
“Jayden (Eynaud) said, ‘That’s it, Lauren, shut up. You treated Jono like crap. You had a boyfriend,'” he said, adding that this confrontation upset her.
In an exclusive chat with Ny Breaking Australia, Lauren hit back at Jono’s claims on Monday.
“The claims that I was crying at the dinner table because of Jayden (and his comments) are 100 percent fabricated,” she said.

“I didn’t cry because of Jono and Ellie’s relationship, I cried because I was so overwhelmed by the lack of decorum on display at the dinner table.”
Jono and Ellie made a provocative entrance as they arrived at the final Dinner Party as a newly formed couple, having struck up a romance behind the back of Jono’s bride Lauren.
The reunion dinner then exploded with several confrontations and foul-mouthed rants between the participants.

“Jono tries to blame his friend Jayden, but unfortunately that doesn’t sit well with him,” Lauren said.
“He has gone out of his way to not only throw mud at me himself, but also enlist the help of current and former MAFS participants to do the dirty work for him.”
Lauren also told Ny Breaking Australia that, contrary to the perception of the show’s editing, the evening of the reunion ended happily.

‘The evening ended with everyone laughing and joking. Jono and I had a lovely evening together and ended the reunion without any animosity,” she said.
‘I hope this media whining can stop now. I’m very happy and I wish the same for everyone else in the experiment.’
Ahead of the dramatic reunion special, tensions on the show came to a head when Lauren finally confronted husband Jono about texting fellow bride Ellie after leaving the show.
Lauren also told Ny Breaking Australia that, contrary to the perception of the show’s editing, the evening of the reunion ended happily: “The evening ended with everyone laughing and joking, Jono and I actually had a nice evening together and ended the reunion without hostility. ‘
Lauren’s heart broke when she found out her groom was secretly texting Ellie.
In a dramatic episode, Lauren demanded to see Jono’s iPhone, only to discover that he had texted Ellie hundreds of times after she left the experiment.
“You contacted her. These don’t just relay information that happened the night before, this is more than that. My stomach dropped,” Lauren told Jono.
Jono eventually admitted to secretly texting Ellie, but tried to downplay their relationship as platonic before arriving arm in arm with Ellie at the reunion dinner.
