Mark Wright’s brother Josh and his wife Hollie Kane welcome their second child 12 weeks early

Josh Wright and his wife Hollie Kane have announced that they have welcomed their second child 12 weeks early.

Footballer Josh, 33, the brother of Mark and Jess Wright, and his wife of four years, took to Instagram on Friday to discuss the “scary” birth of their son.

In a lengthy caption, Holly explained that they had welcomed their “beautiful baby boy” on February 11 and detailed an “exciting” two weeks since his premature birth.

Josh’s sister, Jess, also took to her Instagram Stories to talk about what a “scary” time it had been for her family after the baby was born at just 28 weeks.

Announcing the birth of their son, Josh and Holly shared photos of their newborn baby boy, who was born weighing 2.4 pounds, lying in an incubator at the hospital.

The parents lovingly placed their hands on the little one’s head in one image, while another image showed the baby sleeping on Holly’s chest.

A final photograph showed their eldest son, 12-month-old Joshua James, looking down at his younger brother as he lay in the incubator.

In an accompanying caption, Hollie confirmed that her baby now “looks healthy” and thanked the medical staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.

She admitted it had been a “very scary and emotional” few weeks, but gushed about how much she loves her baby boy, whose name has yet to be revealed.

Hollie wrote: “At 28 weeks, 12 weeks ahead of schedule, our beautiful baby boy was born on November 2, 2023 at 6:08am and weighed in at 2.4lbs.”

“It took us by surprise but we can’t thank the midwives, nurses, doctors and all the associates at @princessalexandranhs enough for making what has been such a difficult time just a little bit easier, they have been truly amazing.”

“The last two weeks have been manic to say the least, as well as very scary and emotional, but all we can hope for is that our ray of sunshine continues to improve and strengthen, ready to come home in the next few months, for Please, God.

‘Our baby looks healthy and we just couldn’t love him anymore.

To our family, friends and loved ones who have been by our side, they know they mean the world to us and we can’t wait until they do.

Former TOWIE star Jess, 37, took to her Instagram Stories to share the post, reflecting on what a “scary” moment it had been for her younger brother Josh.

She wrote: “Terribly scary few weeks as this little love entered the world 12 weeks early but he’s fighting hard and can’t wait to meet my new nephew please God very soon.”

Ebbsfleet United midfielder Josh and his wife Hollie have confirmed that they are expecting their second child together on Christmas Day.

They shared a video of their ultrasound image hanging on their Christmas tree and later gave it to little Joshua.

Hollie then stood up to show off her blossoming baby bump and proudly cradled her as she stood in front of the tree.

Captioning the adorable video, she wrote: “We’ve been keeping a very special secret… When 3 becomes 4 in spring 2023.

‘More than halfway there and we can’t wait to meet you. Christmas Eve 2022.’

Josh and Hollie were married in July 2018, after Josh proposed to Hollie in May 2017 during a romantic trip to Dubai.

The couple welcomed their first child in February 2022, with Josh saying, “I always said I would name my first child Joshua.”
