Marjorie Taylor Greene goes on tirade about ‘vaping groping’ Lauren Boebert and ‘Colonel Sanders’ Chip Roy after Republicans sunk her bid to censure Rashida Tlaib for anti-Semitic remarks

  • Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked her Republican colleagues who voted against her resolution to censure Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib
  • She posted a list of Republicans who voted against the resolution
  • Greene became embroiled in a war of words with Rep. Chip Roy, who called her resolution “weak” in his reasoning for not voting to censure

Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked her Republican colleagues who voted against her resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib for anti-Semitic comments — including demanding a ceasefire in Israel.

The Georgia lawmaker called Tlaib a “terrorist” and posted a list on X, formerly Twitter, of the 24 Republicans who voted with Democrats to censure, and the 13 who abstained or did not vote.

Specifically, Rep. Greene called out her Colorado colleagues as “CNN wannabe” Rep. Ken Buck and “vaping betaping” Rep. Lauren Boebert in response to Rep. Chip Roy’s (R-Texas) reasoning that the “weak resolution to censure Tlaib” was deeply flawed.”

This was the start of a war of words between Greene and Roy on Thursday morning.

The Georgia lawmaker posted on X a list of Republicans who voted against the resolution on Wednesday evening

Two dozen Republicans in the House of Representatives voted Wednesday night to reject their own Republican colleague’s resolution to censure the Palestinian-American congressman. A dozen from another baker did not vote, ending the effort.

“This is why the Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communist Democrats or ever hold anyone accountable!!” Rep. Greene wrote on X. “PATHETIC.”

Greene wrote the resolution to censure Tlaib, who is part of the progressive team in the House.

Tlaib and her progressive pro-Palestinian colleagues have increased their anti-Israel sentiments over the past month after Hamas terrorists launched an unsolicited attack on Israel. It led to the largest murder of Jewish people in one day since the Holocaust. Israel reports that more than 1,400 of its residents have been killed in the attacks.

Since then, Israel has carried out a series of counterattacks on the Hamas stronghold of Gaza, killing thousands of people, according to the de facto terrorist government.

Progressives have called for a ceasefire, which Republicans say is synonymous with demanding that Israel not defend itself against a designated terrorist organization.

Greene attacked Rep. Roy for voting against censoring Tlaib.

“You hate Trump, certified Biden’s election, and don’t care about J6 defendants being prosecuted,” Greene wrote on X.

Greene wrote a resolution censuring Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman elected to Congress, for her anti-Israel comments, including calling for a ceasefire after Hamas terrorists attacked the Jewish nation.

Representative Chip Roy reasoned on X that he voted against the resolution because it was “weak.”

Speaking to a reporter from The Hill, Roy responded to Greene’s criticism with, “Tell her to start chasing so-called Jewish space lasers if she wants to spend time on that kind of thing.”

He was referring to Greene’s previous anti-Semitic conspiracies about the existence of Jewish space lasers and their use to cause destruction. In 2018, Greene made a lengthy Facebook post claiming that the wealthy Jewish Rothschild family was using space lasers to fuel California wildfires.

Since then, Rep. Greene has denied any connection to anti-Semitic views, saying she was a political newcomer when she made these claims.

“Oh shut up Colonel Sanders, you’re not even from Texas, more from the DMV,” Greene said in response to Rep. Roy bringing up her previous comments about the space laser.

“Chip Roy’s career consists of working for politicians, working for campaigns for politicians and being a politician himself,” she added in another X post. ‘Unity party all the way!’
