The ghost of late film legend Marilyn Monroe is said to haunt a Hollywood hotel.
The Some Like It Hot star – who died under suspicious circumstances in 1962 at the age of 36 – is said to have lived in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles for two years at the start of her career.
Now it is claimed that her ghost has returned to the building.
It is suggested that Tony Curtis and Clark Gable’s costar has been sighted there many times over the years.
Singer Brocarde – who claims to have seen Marilyn’s ghost at the pool – said further her Instagram account in October: “So many psychic mediums have told me that the Roosevelt Hotel is charged with paranormal energy.”

She added: ‘I have heard several reports over the years of psychics seeing Marilyn’s apparition, but I thought it was unlikely that I would see her so I was quite stunned when I did.
‘Nothing surprises me anymore.’
She added, “I think realistically, when you’re somewhere with as much Hollywood history as the Roosevelt, you’re more likely to encounter the ghost of a celebrity than of a human being.
‘This was home to a lot of big stars. It is reported that Marilyn lived at the hotel for two years and that the hotel hosted the very first Oscars ceremony, so many have seen her hanging out in the Blossom Ballroom…
‘It’s a great place to go if you want to spot the ghosts of Hollywood royalty.’
Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson in Los Angeles in 1926. She spent most of her childhood in a total of twelve foster homes and an orphanage before marrying James Dougherty at the age of sixteen.

She was working in a factory when she met a photographer from the First Motion Picture Unit.
That led to a successful career as a pin-up model.
Next came her film career which began with roles in As Young as You Feel and Monkey Business, and in the dramas Clash by Night and Don’t Bother to Knock.
This was followed by leading roles in Niagara, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How to Marry a Millionaire, The Seven Year Itch, The Prince and the Showgirl, and Some Like It Hot. Her last completed film was the 1961 drama The Misfits.
She was married to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller.

On August 4, 1962, she died of an overdose of barbiturates at the age of 36 in her Los Angeles home. Her death was ruled a probable suicide.
Brocarde claims to have encountered several celebrity ghosts over the years.
That includes the wartime ghost of British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill aboard the Queen Mary ship.
The ship has been converted into a tourist attraction in Long Beach, California.
She said she encountered the ghost when she was walking to the bathroom and explained: ‘I was overcome with an intense feeling of fear, I opened the bathroom door and it was filled with a thick mist, I felt like someone followed me, Like when the door closed behind me, it slammed twice, as if someone followed me in.
‘Then I saw the full appearance of a heavyset man, with a cigar, he looked exactly like Winston Churchill.
‘I shot through the bathroom door like a bolt of light, it was the fastest bathroom trip I’ve ever made…’

‘Later it occurred to me that the fog, or heavy fog, could have been cigar smoke.
‘Later that evening a staff member told me that the ghost of Winston Churchill had been spotted on board a few times. I was told that one staff member was so shocked that he quit on the first day and never returned to the ship.’
She also claims to have seen the ghost of late Motorhead rocker Lemmy during a séance at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, where his ashes were scattered after his death in 2015 at the age of 70.
