Barbie’s battle for best dressed! Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt go head-to-head in similar plunging black gowns with stone-trimmed collars at Governors Awards in Los Angeles

Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt wore very similar dresses to the 14th annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The 33-year-old Barbie sensation and the 40-year-old Oppenheimer star went head-to-head in black dresses complete with glittering, stone-encrusted necklines.

To complement their strikingly similar ensembles, each of the blonde women wore their locks in soft curls that flowed down their backs.

Margot’s look featured a deep V-shaped neck, plus midriff cutouts that exposed her toned abs.

Meanwhile, Emily turned heads with a choker-style stone garment that reached past her chest and onto her stomach.

Margot looked stunning with her fingernails painted in a sleek and flawless micro French manicure.

Her locks were parted in the middle and lay behind her ears as they flowed together in organized waves.

She dazzled in a full face of warm makeup, including contoured cheeks and a nude-hued matte lipstick.

Her blue eyes were accentuated by black mascara and she wore stone-covered earrings.

For her part, Emily stepped out with a short, flawless, glossy burgundy manicure.

The silver screen siren, who is married to actor John Krasinski, was adorned with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including earrings, bracelets and rings.

Her hair was arranged in a side part, with some neatly brushed behind her ear.

And she turned heads with soft, pink makeup consisting of blush and a moisturizing lip stain.

The Governors Awards fashion face-off comes after the two beauties attended the Golden Globes each Sunday.

Barbie competed against Taylor Swift’s concert film The Eras in the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award category, with Barbie coming out on top.

It also beat Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

In her acceptance speech, Margot said: ‘Thank you. We would like to dedicate this to every person on the planet who dressed up and went to the most beautiful place on earth: the cinemas.’
