Manhunt at Dutch university as motorbike-riding attacker in military clothing opens fire in classroom wounding one – as cops probe second shooting at nearby home

Police in the Netherlands have launched a manhunt after an attacker dressed in military fatigues opened fire in a Dutch university classroom and injured one person.

Investigators say the gunman may have fled on a motorcycle. They are calling on those who witnessed the incident in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam to come forward.

Police are also investigating a second shooting at a nearby home that occurred before the university was attacked. It is not yet clear whether the two shootings are related.

A SWAT team checked the Erasmus Medical Center to determine whether the shooter was still in the building, police said.

Several officers, including specialized arrest teams, were photographed in the hospital.
