The Manchester City star valued himself at 'over £40 million', although Transfermarkt reveals his true worth at over £69 million.

Since his transfer from AS Monaco to Manchester City in 2017 for £43.5 million, Silva has consistently delivered impressive performances, making over 300 appearances.

Silva has contributed to the team's success in the Premier League and Champions League, including their historic treble last season.

While the 29-year-old is currently in his seventh season at Manchester City, rumors are circulating about a possible departure.

Barcelona have shown interest and began looking for the star last summer, joining former City players Ilkay Gundogan, Ferran Torres and loan player Joao Cancelo.

There is also the possibility of a return to his hometown Portugal with Benfica.

When discussing the prospect of rejoining his old club, Silva himself assessed his value, citing 'over €50 million'. However, Transfermarkt indicates that his real market value is €80 million.

In an interview with A Bola about a return to Benfica, Silva expressed his desire for the move but stressed the need to 'be realistic'.
