Ajax star Antony has refused to rule out a move to Manchester United, after being forced to train alone amid their transfer interest.
The Red Devils saw their £67m bid for the 22-year-old winger rejected on Friday, with United boss Erik ten Hag keen to re-sign the player that he brought to Ajax in 2020.
And after the Brazilian was forced to train in isolation later that day, it suggests that his future may lie elsewhere, which Antony has refused to rule out.
Ajax star Antony has refused to rule out a potential move to Manchester United this summer
Speaking to De Telegraaf, the Brazilian said: ‘What I can say is that I want to come to the right decision with my family, business partners and Ajax, which is good for everyone. In the end, God determines my future.’
When asked whether he could guarantee his stay with Ajax beyond the summer, he added: ‘No, to be perfectly honest, I can’t.’
‘Now I am focusing on playing football and have put all other matters in the hands of my agents and my brother. They will advise me on what is best.’

‘I am very happy at Ajax, I have a contract until the summer of 2025 and I will give everything for this beautiful club for every second.
‘I wear the shirt with pride and from day one I feel at home.
‘If we all decide that I will stay here, then I know that this is the best thing for me and the club. It’s not like I have to leave.’
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since Erik ten Hag’s appointment – with the Dutchman a massive fan of the player following their time together at Ajax.
Anthony claimed that his former boss Erik ten Hag ‘can turn the tide’ at Manchester United
Antony went on to praise his former coach and argue that the 52-year-old has the credentials to ‘turn the tide’ at Old Trafford.
The winger said: ‘Manchester United will improve at his hand. At his previous clubs, he has proven that his method works.’
‘Erik has been super important to me. I am grateful to him and wish him all the best. I will always cheer for Erik after working so closely together.
‘I have not been able to celebrate or cheer for him as he got no points yet. I couldn’t until now anyway and that makes me sad.
‘But knowing Erik, I am convinced that he will turn the tide soon.’
The Dutch manager spent two years working with Antony before pursuing him with United
The 22-year-old was forced to train alone on Friday, serving as an indicator that he’s already made a decision on his future.
While Alfred Schreuder’s squad prepared together for Ajax’s game against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday, Antony instead worked in the gym without his teammates.
Ajax brass are debating whether to leave Antony out of the club’s squad for the game, as the player has made it clear that he would like to join United this summer.
The Brazil international has started both of de Godenzonen’s opening games of the Eredivisie campaign this season, and scored in the club’s 6-1 win over Groningen on Sunday.
The midfielder won five Champions League titles during his stay in Spain with Madrid
The Red Devils are hoping to make Antony their second signing in a matter of days, after confirming an agreement for the transfer of Real Madrid’s Casemiro.
The deal is subject to visa requirements, a medical and the agreement of personal terms, but the 30-year-old is keen to move to Old Trafford, as confirmed by Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti today.
United posted on their club website: ‘We all look forward to welcoming Casemiro to Old Trafford.’
