Man United star Antony insists he does NOT fear for his future at the club, as winger responds to domestic abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin

Manchester United star Antony insists he has no fears for his future at Old Trafford despite allegations from three women that he assaulted them.

Antony’s ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin has claimed he assaulted her four times, and he has also been accused by two more women in Brazil, Rayssa de Freitas and Ingrid Lana. The 23-year-old winger has denied all allegations.

Brazil dropped Antony from the squad when the new claims came to light on Monday, but United have yet to take any action as police investigations continue in Manchester and Sao Paulo.

Last month United decided that Mason Greenwood could no longer play for the club, even though he denied allegations of attempted rape and sexual assault, and the Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges in February.

Greenwood is now busy rebuilding his career at Getafe, but Antony – bought by Ajax for £85m last year – is unconcerned about his future and remains confident he will be cleared.

In a tearful interview for Brazilian TV channel SBT on Friday evening, he said: ‘It’s something I don’t think about.

‘I know the truth and it will come out. I know many are bashing me, but the truth always comes out.

‘United is on top of the entire investigation. They are following and will continue to follow it.”

However, he admits it hurt that Brazil left him out of the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru. .

‘I was here with my mother when I heard that I was going to be circumcised. It is not easy. We are working to make a dream come true, and wearing the national team jersey is a dream I live with every day.”

Antony spoke out against domestic violence and insisted he would never harm a woman.

“I never support this,” he said. “It’s completely wrong, 100 percent wrong. I have a mother and a sister, and I would never want this to happen to them.

“I’m 100 percent sure I’ve never touched a woman, and I’ll come back with the proof.” People will see the truth. I have never assaulted and I will never assault. I’m sure I’ve never committed physical violence.

Cavallin filed a police report in Brazil in June and then spoke out during a television interview

Cavallin said she needed stitches to her chest after Antony allegedly injured her

“Anyone who has been with me since I was little, when I had nothing, knows my character and how much I sweated to get here.

‘What I want most is to show people that this is who I am. I want to achieve many things.

‘I have many goals and many dreams. I want to show who I really am. I dream of returning to the national team and I want to show that Antony is innocent of this.’

Cavallin’s most serious claim is that Antony headbutted her during an argument at a Manchester hotel in January in an attack that dislodged a breast implant. She has also accused the club of trying to cover up the incident, an accusation it says is ‘categorically false’.

Antony insists the implant was already damaged, saying: ‘The silicone situation was identified in 2020 before I met her. She already had to change it. Do I punch a woman in the chest? Never.

‘I didn’t touch her at any point. I’m never going to headbutt anyone. She was at a hotel and texted me. I went to her hotel and we normally had lunch together. But there was one thing that annoyed her, and that was when I said I had to go because I had my commitments. We had a disagreement.

Antony posted a statement in Portuguese on Instagram in June emphasizing his innocence

‘I tried to leave, but she wouldn’t let me. Then she broke glasses and plates. She threw it on the ground and threw it in my direction too. She came to me. At that moment I held her. At no point did I pinch her. I didn’t headbutt her.

‘It was quite a turbulent relationship. There was jealousy on both sides, both mine and hers. We ended up arguing. A lot of things because I was with Gabi, but I also connected with other women.’

On another occasion, Cavallin claims she was attacked in Antony’s car after a party and that he threatened to throw her from the moving vehicle when she was pregnant.

He also denies this and says: ‘(Physical) aggression, no. I never touched her. I never called her to the party. I didn’t talk to her. When I left I didn’t call her, I just told my security guard and my friend that I was going. She went after me and said, “Leave and you’re not going to call me?”.

“She started changing in the car. She started calling me bullshit again. She said she was going to end my life and my career. She always said that.

‘I sat in the car and was quiet. I didn’t even hold her or anything because she kept pushing me in the car, I couldn’t even hold her. There are a lot of things she says that aren’t true.”

Cavallin also claims that Antony cut her finger with a glass and stopped her from leaving his house in another row.

The winger was removed from the Brazil squad following his ex-girlfriend’s allegations

Manchester United have claimed they ‘acknowledge the allegations against Antony and note that police are investigating’

“It’s a lie, of course it didn’t happen,” he countered. “How am I going to throw a cup in someone’s face? Do you know how the cup episode went?

‘We were at a barbecue, there was a pagoda, everything was normal, a normal environment. She was drinking heavily and I asked her to stop drinking.

“When I pulled the cup, she closed and held on. The rod broke and cut her finger. I didn’t even pull, she pushed down. So I wanted to take the glass away from her because she was drinking too much. I’m never going to throw a cup in a woman’s or anyone else’s face.”

Antony also insisted that Cavallin had falsified WhatsApp messages she released to the media to smear his reputation.

“There are things that were changed by her in the prints,” he argued. “She even texted and deleted a sentence I sent, leaving just a word I wrote – where I say sorry and she deletes a sentence.

‘I have proof of all this. I’m going to contact my lawyers and they will include all of this in the investigation.’
