In a viral clip, which has been viewed more than 870,000 times to date, Shaquitta, Shane and their friends were all gathered in the backyard.
The video begins with Shane already under arrest, with what appears to be an officer holding him in handcuffs.
Shaquitta screams as she begs them to release her beau.
Shane tells her to get his wallet out of his pocket and while she is distracted, he takes the ring out of his pocket and gets down on one knee.
Shocked, Shaquitta fell to the floor and burst into tears.
Her friends helped her up and she said yes as they hugged.
