A man has been charged with murder six days after a young woman was found unconscious in a Bundamba house north of Brisbane.
Police were called to the property west of Brisbane following reports that 19-year-old cafe worker Krystle Monks had suddenly collapsed at around 9:30pm on February 4.
She was rushed to Brisbane Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition, where she died of severe head injuries the following night.

Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit declared the house a crime scene and launched Operation Victor Fluorite to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
As a result of investigations, detectives arrested a 21-year-old Dinmore man Friday at a Richlands address.
It will be alleged that Mrs. Monks knows him.
He has been charged with one count of murder (domestic violence offence) and is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Investigations are ongoing and detectives are calling on those who knew Ms. Monks, who may have information that could help the investigations, to come forward.

Heartbroken friends and family have since shared moving tributes to the young woman who attended Bundamba State Secondary College and worked as a barista at Coffee Club Ipswich.
Her father, Steven Taylor, revealed this week that the family was “heartbroken”.
Asked how the family would like Ms. Monks to be remembered, she said: “Forever young, forever beautiful.”
