A man has been charged with murder after a 68-year-old man was found dead after disappearing a month ago.
The remains of Raymond Smith were discovered on Friday on the outskirts of Greenbushes, a small mining town about 100km east of Margaret River, Western Australia.
Mr Smith was last seen alive in the city on December 7 around 5pm and was reported missing on December 18.
Homicide detectives deemed his disappearance 'suspicious' and launched an investigation shortly after Mr Smith's body was located.
Kevin Allan Craig Potter, 35, was charged with murder on Sunday.

Officers had searched his home in the days before before expanding their search radius to the outskirts of the city.
The town of about 360 residents has mining operations for tantalite, tin and kaolin and is home to the world's largest lithium mine.
Potter was confronted at Northbridge Magistrates Court on Sunday via video from Bunbury, where he was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court later this month.
