Mamie Laverock’s When Calls The Heart family have called for ‘prayers and love’ for their co-star and say they ‘need a miracle’ as the 19-year-old remains on life support after suffering ‘life-threatening injuries’ during a five-story fall.
The teenage actress was rushed to hospital on Sunday after falling from a balcony corridor on the fifth floor of a building.
Her parents revealed the devastating news in a GoFundMe campaign that said: “She suffered life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support. We are all devastated and shocked at this deeply difficult time.”
Castmates such as Johannah Newmarch and Erin Krakow have since shared public messages of support while calling on fans to help.
Mitchell Kummen, who played Gabriel “Gabe” Montgomrey, went to X (earlier Tweet) and wrote, “Please pray for my friend Mamie. We need a miracle and the power of prayer and love.”

Laverock on When Calls the Heart in 2014 with co-star Erin Krakow, who told fans, “I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too.”
Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, also shared her support in a post on X.
‘I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for everyone who cares about Mamie. Please help if you can,” Newmarch, 52, wrote on May 27. “They need all the support they can get to get through this.”
Erin Krakow, known for her role as Elizabeth Thatcher, also shared a photo of the family fund asking for $10,000.
‘I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will do so. Link in bio,” she wrote.
Loretta Walsh, who stars as Florence Blakeley, also asked followers to support the campaign on Instagram, pleading: ‘Donate and share if you can. Mamie and her family need our support. Link in bio. Thank you.’
The campaign was also shared by Ava Grace Cooper, who plays Opal Weise.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Sending love to Mamie and family.”
Andrea Brooks, who plays Faith Carter, also posted on her Instagram Stories: “This is heartbreaking news for the entire WCTH family. We love you Mamie.”

“My family is sending all our love,” said Gracyn Shinyei, the actress who plays Emily Montgomery, as she shared the link on Instagram Stories.
Fans have since flocked to the TV star’s social media to send messages of support.
The actress’s latest post on Facebook featured images of the star and her siblings enjoying a blissful vacation together in Hawaii.
She captioned the May 18 post: “April 28 Kona, Hawaii. What a nice time together.’
One concerned fan said, “Lord, hear the prayers for this family.”
Laverlock first suffered a “medical emergency” on May 11 and was taken away her mother Nicole Compton to hospital in Winnipeg.
A GoFundMe account said Nicole had “saved her daughter’s life.”
Laverlock was then taken to a hospital in Vancouver. “We try to go every day to support her. Any contribution would help us stand by her side,” it was shared.

But at one point she fell five stories from a footbridge, it was claimed at the time, causing the serious injuries.

Laverock played nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan in When Calls The Heart for the first two seasons. She also appeared in season 10.
As recently as March 26, Laverock was present in a Zoom interview on the Heart to Hearties podcast.

Laverock got her start in 2012 with This Means War, starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
She later reprized her role in 2023 for the show’s 10th season. However, her role was cut.
She also appeared in 2018’s Wedding Of Dreams with Debbie Gibson, Robert Gant and Pascale Hutton.
And she appeared in the 2017 horror film The Hollow Child, Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events in 2019 and the 2020 Lifetime film Spotlight on Christmas.
