A major movie star looked almost unrecognizable on the set of his new film in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The 55-year-old actor has signature dark curls, which have now been transformed into a striking white mohawk.
The four-time Emmy winner’s face was covered in dramatic villain makeup, consisting of white face paint, heavy black and red eye shadow, and red lipstick.
The American-born star, whose role in a critically acclaimed HBO fantasy series made him an international star, wore a red dress with gold embellishments.

That’s right, it’s Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage.
He was photographed filming scenes on the set of the new film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s King Lear, called Lear Rex. Dinklage plays The Fool in the film.
The jester is an important character in Shakespeare’s play. He serves as a witty and honest advisor to the king. Through humor and sarcasm, he is able to point out Lear’s shortcomings.
Dinklage was joined by co-stars Al Pacino, 84, and Stephen Dorff, 51.
The Godfather icon was spotted on set in regal attire, wearing a black tunic underneath an ornate purple robe with gold embellishments.
The actor’s gray hair was rather unkempt, as he also had a gray beard for this role.
Dorff wore a sloppy green garment that he had tied on his shoulder, because the makeup emphasized his dirty appearance.
He also had numerous facial tattoos on his arms and a visible wound on his left leg, while wearing a pair of brown sandals.

The story is about the aging King Lear who divides his kingdom among his three daughters.
Instead of trusting the only daughter who truly cares for him, Lear trusts her evil sisters.
They strip him of his power and “condemn him to a miserable wasteland of horror and madness,” the description goes.
The play has been performed numerous times on and off-Broadway. The most recent version was the 2019 Broadway adaptation starring Glenda Jackson as Lear, Ruth Wilson as The Fool and Pedro Pascal as Edmund.
