She ended her relationship with Timothy Smith during Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
And Lucinda Light’s past as a speed dating host in Byron Bay has recently resurfaced.
Before jumping into the MAFS experiment, the 43-year-old “earth mama” and wedding celebrant helped other singles find love with her “Soulful Speed Dating” nights.
Lucinda appeared on the Most Insistent YouTube channel a year ago and revealed what singles get out of her speed dating nights.
‘What people can expect is a very sexy place… where they are really greeted with warmth and immediately feel comfortable. It’s also partly a workshop, so I’m actually helping people unleash and release their inner flirt,” she said.

“Let’s face it, a lot of us have that stuck, especially in Australian culture. That’s why I give them permission to flirt and give them dating tips to practice the art of dating and flirting.’
But Lucinda insists her ‘Soulful Speed Dating’ nights aren’t just about light fun – there are opportunities to ‘go deep’ too.
“Every time you go on a new date (and you probably spend about three minutes on each date), I ask you a question that is very powerful and makes you really dive deep into yourself and actively listen to the other person. And that is a journey in itself.’

Several comments on the video praised Lucinda’s holistic approach to finding love.
‘I absolutely love the direction of your wonderful, soulful dating with Lucinda… all your interests and projects have led to this… it’s been a long time in the making and you deserve all the success and excitement that comes with it! Continue!’ wrote one follower.
‘I love you Lucinda! You are a living goddess,” wrote another, while another commented: “I could listen to Lucinda narrating novels.”

It comes as the MAFS bride and her groom Timothy took time to celebrate their relationship during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.
The tension was palpable as Lucinda exposed the core of their struggle.
Timothy acknowledged his lackluster effort and said, “I didn’t go to a host family with the best attitude.”
His words reflected the distance growing between them, a gap made even wider by his actions, or lack thereof.
In an emotional stand before the experts, Timothy said he found an in-depth emotional examination “uncomfortable” and “overwhelming.”
The pivotal moment came when Lucinda, full of poetic eloquence, chose to renounce the marriage, marking the end of their journey.
Timothy also decided to leave the experiment, but not without a glimmer of hope for a friendship beyond the confines of the show.
