Love Island’s Zara Lackenby-Brown claims ALL her male pals have tried it on with her

Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown has claimed that all of her male friends made a move on her, ruining the friendship because she wasn’t interested.

The Love Island star, 25, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday to debate whether men and women could ever really be just friends alongside former Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr.

Zara talked about how all of her current close friends are women because she had to let go of her male friends after they flirted with her.

She said, “In my own experience, most of my, in fact all of my close male friendships in the past have tried with me, made a move.

‘All my close ones are female. I don’t think it exists, I think it’s the way we are.’

Co-host Ben Shephard asked, “Once that move is done, can you continue as friends or has that ruined the friendship?”

Zara replied, “It ruined it for me, yes.” I saw them as brothers and it’s just not the same after that.’

However, Tom disagreed, saying that he has “lots” of girlfriends and there won’t always be attraction between every man and every woman.

He said, “I think it depends on whether there’s chemistry or not. You are not attracted to every woman you meet in the world, not every woman is attracted to every man she meets.

“In those situations, there’s no reason why boundaries should ever be crossed if you really aren’t attracted to each other.”

Speaking about his female friendships, he said, “I have a lot. I’m a dancer and it’s a predominantly female industry. If I was attracted to every woman I met, I would never have real relationships in that industry.”

Viewers took to social media after the debate, and many disagreed with Zara’s stance.

When asked if men and women can just be friends, one viewer simply tweeted, “Yeah. Next question.’

Another fan lashed out at the reality star, saying, “So Zara doesn’t believe men and women can be friends because she thinks every man is attracted to her. smh. I would be interested, ma’am.’

A third wrote: “Zara is talking absolute nonsense. I have a lot of male friends and I’m not attracted to them.’

A fourth added: “It’s about friendship between husband and wife, you have to show respect to them.”

Another said, “And did she try it with any of her male friends?” I highly doubt it was all one-way traffic.’

Zara’s TV appearance comes after she responded to claims she faked a romance with ex beau Jordan Odofin – saying she doesn’t need a man for fame.

The Love Island star admitted that she’s living her best single life right now and has a lot of guys sliding into her DMs.

The model began dating former co-star Jordan after she left the villa, but the two soon split after a few weeks.

Fans accused the pair of “faking” their relationship, but Zara backtracked on the false claims, saying they had nothing to lose in getting to know each other.

“What a sweet boy, I can’t fault Jordan — we were dating and like when you realize there’s not that romantic spark, but it’s all good, we’re friends.”

Zara added that she and Jordan, 28, get along well and want the best for each other and they had no reason to “fake” anything.

“It wasn’t fake — I heard that rumor. Someone said he said that, he never said that. Why would we fake it? We have nothing to counterfeit,’ she said.

The model went on to say she was thankful the pair shared an experience together as they couldn’t meet earlier at the villa, but it just wasn’t to be.

But it looks like Zara has a lot on her plate as she admitted that she’s living her best life as a single woman – and that a lot of hot single guys are bombarding her DMs.

“I have few suitable bachelors in the DMs but I’m focusing on myself right now, yes, some famous people – but that was my life before, I’ve had guys in my DMs before so that’s nothing new to me,” said she.
