Love Island’s Claudia Fogarty confirms her new relationship with professional footballer Ollie Cranshaw with a series of loved-up snaps – as former fling Casey O’Gorman shares his approval

Claudia Fogarty has shared her new relationship as she confirmed rumors she is dating professional footballer Ollie Cranshaw.

The Love Island star, 29, shared a slew of loved-up photos from a recent date night with her boyfriend, alongside the caption: ‘Finally found my happiness’.

The reality personality’s former fling, Casey O’Gorman, was among her followers who shared their approval of her new relationship in the comments section.

Casey, who recently revealed they had ‘crossed friendship lines’ since leaving the villa, captioned the post with a series of love hearts.

Claudia and Casey first met on the winter 2023 edition of Love Island, but they went their separate ways for the first time when his head was turned by bombshell Rosie.

Following the failed romance, Claudia has since enjoyed a string of dates with Ollie, a 25-year-old winger who currently plays for Altrincham in the National League.

Claudia and Ollie shared a glimpse into one of their date nights as they sat next to each other at dinner and posed in a kitchen in front of a mirror.

The couple were dining at Meraki in Sakku Samba in Manchester and were later pictured enjoying a hug as they left the venue.

Other famous friends who sent their well wishes included Georgia Harrison and her Love Island co-star Tom Clare, who said: ‘Love it guys!’

Last week, Claudia confirmed she had a fun movie date with Ollie by sharing a photo of their popcorn and sweets as they sat down to watch a movie.

In a second post, she alludes to their apparent connection by revealing that they both wore matching Adidas sneakers on another date.

Captioning a photo of their identical shoes, she wrote, “who copied who? @ollycrankshaw.’

Casey recently admitted that he and Claudia had a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship after leaving the Cape Town villa earlier this year.

The pair fell for each other while filming winter series, but soon had his head turned by Rosie Seabrook, leaving Claudia devastated.

But his romance with Rosie quickly spiraled out of control, with Casey ‘ghosting’ her just two weeks after returning to the UK.

Weeks later, he hinted at a possible reunion with Claudia, but has since admitted that they have “crossed the friendship line.”

Speaking to the Goss Island podcast, he said: ‘We may have crossed the friendship line once or twice on a night out but they’re really just friends.

“And since that happened, we’ve basically said we can’t do that. We’ll just remain friends.’

When asked if it was a “friends with benefits” situation that got out of hand, he confirmed, “Yes. I really feel like if I had stayed with Claudia until the end of the show, we probably wouldn’t be friends right now.

“It probably would have ended much worse and there would have been a lot more emotions involved.”

He added: “So in a way I wish I had stayed with Claudia, but I think it has worked out for the best now because we are such good friends.

‘If people fake their feelings on Love Island I don’t know how they do it. I could never do it and even fake emotions into it because it’s so intense and honest there for anyone who does, but I don’t know how they could do that.”
