Callum MacLeod of Love Island has revealed that he posed the question to his girlfriend Jade Olivia on Saturday.

The aircraft engineer, 32, took to Instagram to share the amazing moment his love said yes after getting down on one knee at sunset.

He seemed to completely surprise Jade as she posed for a photo along a beautiful coastline, only for him to propose.

He previously spoke of regretting his time at the villa and confessed that he should have been tougher.

On This Morning, the South Wales aircraft engineer – who quit his job to appear on the show – spoke back on his five days on the show.

Discussing his approach to finding love, he reasoned: ‘I was a bit’ [too soft].

“I told them this before I went in, I said, ‘I’m not that type,’ I wouldn’t go in and take a girl. And every girl that Tommy [Fury] thought I wouldn’t go anywhere near it!’

Callum was initially linked to Amber Gill, but it soon became apparent that their relationship was purely platonic.

Callum confessed afterwards that he should have given other girls in the villa a chance, admitting: “I would pair with Amy again [Hart] or Anna [Vakili] because we were very similar.’
