Love Island reunion: Winners Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti put on a loved-up display

It’s been nearly a week since Love Island came to a spectacular end at the live final which saw Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti take the crown after winning the hearts of the nation.

And for those fans who have been missing their nightly dose of drama, there isn’t long to wait for the reunion show which will be broadcast at 9pm on ITV2.

In a first look at the upcoming episode, Turkish actress Ekin-Su and Italian hunk Davide, both 27, looked as loved-up as ever while runners up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish shared a laugh – although shortly after they had a row while leaving filming. 

Ekin-Su looked incredible in a busty white dress as she cosied up to the reported millionaire business owner who was dapper in an open shirt and light grey checked trousers.

The stunner wowed in her revealing number that had a thigh-split and showed off her tan and was teamed with bow silver heels.

She wore her honey tresses in loose waves over her shoulders while opting for a glamorous makeup look as she playfully kicked her leg back for one snap.

Meanwhile dressage rider Gemma, 19, and fishmonger Luca, 23, looked happier than ever as they laughed while being interviewed by host Laura Whitmore on the sofa.

It was in stark contrast to a few hours after as when they left filming Luca admitted to a squabble while they headed home from Elstree Studios and were both looking sombre as they were snapped in the car.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Luca made a telling comment to a photographer waiting outside the venue who spotted some tension between the pair.

The photographer said to Luca: ‘You’ve got your hands full there!’

Luca was then said to have replied: ‘Oh don’t mate! She’s got the right hump with me!’ 

MailOnline contacted representatives for Luca Bish and Gemma Owen for comment at the time. 

For the reunion show Gemma looked beautiful in a silk black slip dress and had her brunette tresses swept up into a sleek pony tail, a hairstyle which Luca complimented on the night.

Luca looked smart in a black shirt as he posed next to Gemma while filming took place. 

Also at the reunion show were Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page who finished fourth during the live final after a tumultuous journey.

Dancer Tasha, 23, showed off her abs in a silver co-ord as she slipped into a crop top and high-waisted trousers with belt detailing. 

Beside her estate agent Andrew, 27, put his arm around her and looked smart in a white T-shirt and navy chinos.

Elsewhere former hotel worker Indiyah, 23, wowed in a striking orange leather and feather dress while Dami opted for a colourful woven vest as they chatted to Laura on the show.

Laura made sure all eyes were on her in a bright pink mini dress teamed with platform heels and wore her blonde tresses in a sleek pony tail.

It comes after Gemma and Luca  put on a united front on Friday, as the dressage champ shared a loved up post from the filming to Instagram.

The Love Island runners up wrapped an arm around one another, as Luca beamed for a chic snap with Michael Owen’s daughter.

‘Reunion night with this one / It was so good to see everyone again! Don’t forget to watch it on @loveisland aftersun Sunday night @itv2’, wrote the star.

Gemma looked stunning as she donned a satin, cowl neck midi dress in a chocolate brown, with a thigh grazing slit detail.

Her brunette tresses were pulled into a sleek high ponytail, as she opted for a full palette of makeup.

Adding strappy gold heels, the beauty opted for her signature collection of gold jewellery. 

While the first shot showed the new couple beam at the camera, Luca laughed as he grabbed Gemma’s leg in the second, while the beauty pouted and fell into his arms.

And further solidifying that the couple are very much ‘on’, the Brighton native tagged Gemma in an Instagram Story on Friday evening, as he attempted to sell her on his home city.

‘Am I selling Brighton to you yet @gemowen_1?’, quipped Luca as he posted a video of horses. 

It marks the first photo shared of the couple together on Gemma’s account in a week, after fans spotted an apparent snub towards Luca by her family.

The dressage rider’s account handlers have avoided sharing any mention or photos of the fishmonger in the run up to the final.

And following Gemma and Luca’s second-place finish, Luca’s family were quick to congratulate the couple, posting a snap of them together with a gushing caption.

It read: ‘Thank you SO much from the bottom of our hearts for all of the support you’ve shown this gorgeous couple. So excited to continue watching your journey from the outside. You really did win by finding each other.’

This was in stark contrast to Gemma’s Instagram, which noticeably only posted solo snaps of the brunette beauty in the lead-up and following the final, with beau Luca noticeably absent.

Sharing a solo snap of Gemma clad in a nude ruched gown, her loved ones penned the caption: ‘Words can’t describe how proud we all are of Gemma. 

‘She has shown the nation how mature, honest and classy she truly is. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for all the love and support…Gemma is going to be SO overwhelmed. 

‘We are passing this back to Gemma now… We have loved running her account and being part of her @loveisland journey. We can’t wait for what the future holds.’

Eagle-eyed fans at home were quick to notice this, and took to Twitter to suggest that Gemma’s family were not overly fond of Luca and that they were doing ‘damage control’ to protect Gemma’s brand.
