“I’ve always found skiing incredibly liberating:” Louise Thompson admits she’s delighted to be back on the slopes as she shares a sweet moment with her 15-month-old son Leo Hunter during a family holiday in Switzerland.

Louise Thompson enjoyed some downtime with her family last week as she spent time in Gstaad, Switzerland for a ski vacation with her fiance and 15-month-old son Leo-Hunter.

The former reality TV star, 32, gave fans a taste of the journey by sharing a plethora of snaps and videos on social media.

And one video in particular left Louise’s fans and friends feeling emotional when she took to Instagram to share an adorable video of herself skiing with her son.

During the video, Louise can be seen hitting the slopes like a pro while holding her son Leo, who seemed thrilled by his mother’s skills on the slopes.

And as the video was coming to a close, Louise could be seen beaming as she and Leo shared an endearing high-five before laughing at each other.

The adorable video comes after Louise shared a collection of images while showing off her range of stylish ski holiday outfits.

And Louise looked impeccably stylish in a ton of layered ensembles.

She appeared in high spirits as she enjoyed some quality time with Leo, as the little one was in his element in the snowy surroundings.

Beau Ryan even held up his son with one hand as they took a photo together, recreating the famous snap in which he did the same with Louise in his hand.

The whole family was adorably kitted out in matching Carhartt beanies to keep warm in the freezing temperatures.

Before heading home Thursday, the mom took to Instagram to explain how blessed she felt to be able to hit the slopes with her son.

She shared: ‘I managed to put my skis on for an hour last morning. It was a complete pleasure. I didn’t expect to be able to do it without childcare and with recent medical issues, but when the opportunity presented itself, I took the bull by the horns.

“I just went up on a button lift and T-bar to navigate the nursery tracks and it was very freezing but it felt very liberating. I have always found skiing incredibly liberating. I almost find it meditative.

The much-needed ski trip comes after Louise was devastated in February after having to cancel her trip to St. Lucia due to being unexpectedly hospitalized.

He did not reveal the exact medical problem, but he advised his followers not to take anything for granted.

Taking a photo from his hospital bed, he wrote: “We were supposed to fly to St. Lucia this morning.”

She admitted: “I’m so upset that we can’t go because I really needed some sun and sea.”

However, valiantly trying to stay positive, Louise added: “But at the same time I’m VERY grateful that this all happened on English soil because I have no idea what the outcome would have been abroad.”

It comes after Louise posted an update sitting on a hospital bed, writing: “I’ve been quiet here recently because I had an unexpected situation again.”

Louise has endured a difficult few years after she nearly died during Leo’s birth and spent five weeks in hospital suffering “serious complications” in 2021.

Since then, she has been battling PTSD and postpartum anxiety, admitting during a week in January that she cried up to 20 times.

The star, who previously admitted that she can’t remember the first five months of her son’s life after the trauma he suffered, has been honest with her fans about her daily struggles, revealing at points that the anxiety felt ‘inexplicable’, but now she is learning to ‘make sense of it’.
