Louise Redknapp looks chic in grey jacket and jeans as she wears ‘love’ ring after going public with ‘lovely’ new boyfriend Drew Michael

Louise Redknapp looked chic as she enjoyed a lunch date with a friend in London on Friday.

The 48-year-old singer wore a gray jacket over a light blue shirt that she combined with blue jeans.

She wore a pair of gray and black heels and carried a black handbag as she shielded her eyes behind dark sunglasses.

The pop star looked relaxed as she enjoyed her meal outside at Cecconi’s Mayfair in the British capital.

Former Eternal singer Louise was spotted wearing a silver ring with the word ‘love’ just days after speaking out about her first new relationship since splitting from ex-husband Jamie.

Louise is dating defense firm boss Drew Michael, 39, following her divorce in 2017, and the pair were spotted leaving the Groucho Club in London together last month.

Last week, Louise gave ITV viewers an insight into her relationship during an appearance on Loose Women.

It comes after she split from ex-footballer Jamie, 50, after 20 years of marriage. Jamie has since tied the knot with second wife Frida in 2021.

She said: ‘I’m really happy, he’s amazing, beautiful, it’s really nice.

It’s been a really long time for me. It’s nice to have met someone who makes me so happy.’

Jamie and Louise share two sons, Charlie, 19, and Beau, 14, while the former footballer also shares son Raphael, two, with new wife Freda.

Elsewhere on Loose Women, it was Louise’s first public appearance since she was accused of ‘cancelling’ her Eternal bandmates Easther and Vernie Bennett, who were in a bitter row over trans rights.

She joined fellow star Kelle Bryan, 48, as they discussed the controversy – with Kelle insisting the joint appearance was not planned and that she was booked to appear as a panelist on the show a month ago.

This week it was revealed that the pair had pulled out of an Eternal reunion tour because Vernie and her sister Easther had refused to play any of the LBGTQ+ gigs they had planned due to claims the community is being ‘hijacked’ by the trans movement .

Shortly afterwards, Louise was accused of trying to get her former bandmates canceled by ‘misrepresenting’ their views.

Still, in a telling statement on Loose Women, Louise said: ‘I’d always loved to do a reunion with the girls. I have a lot of love for what we did together and me and Kelle are still the best of friends.”

Standing by her friend, Kelle added of her time in the band, “It changed my life. Obviously the music and the fans are so important.’

Earlier on Wednesday, Vernie broke her silence on the line, seemingly refuting Louise’s team’s claims when she released a statement about how she has been “blessed to connect with so many diverse and amazing people from all walks of life throughout my career the population. ‘
