Kanye West ‘secretly fights to trademark the phrase YEWS which he plans to use for everything from music to restaurants and financial services’

Kanye West is believed to be working on trademarking the term ‘YEWS’ for use on everything from music to restaurants and financial services.

The 46-year-old rapper is said to be behind a complaint filed on October 2 that was linked to a company called Ox Paha Inc.

The LLC is listed at the music producer’s office address, located on Melrose Avenue in LA.

The 26 filings, which DailyMail.com has confirmed are genuine, do not specify exactly what West plans to do.

But the Grammy winner, who performs under the name Ye, appears to be leaving nothing to chance and has earmarked it for use across multiple industries.

These include music and audio, entertainment content, financial services, beauty products, restaurants and more.

Other, more bizarre requests include for use on “common metals and their alloys,” as well as “industrial analysis and research.”

The choice of the term YEWS has raised eyebrows given West’s previous anti-Semitic comments, with a host of brands dropping him or attempting to distance themselves.

Among them were Adidas, Gap, Def Jam Records and his honorary alma mater the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which revoked his doctorate.

West sparked outrage last year when he claimed he “loved Hitler” and denied the Holocaust ever happened.

The comments, made on an episode of Alex Jones’ Infowars podcast, left even the famously controversial host stunned.

West narrated the show in December: ‘I see good things about Hitler… every person has something of value that he or she brought to the table, especially Hitler.’

He later said that the Germans “had a very good leader at one point,” and denied that Hitler had ordered the deaths of six million Jews.

He added: “He didn’t kill six million Jews. That is simply factually incorrect. I’m not trying to shock. I love Hitler. The Holocaust is not what happened… Hitler has many redeeming qualities.”

In another incident a few months earlier, the “Runaway” singer threatened “death con 3 On Jewish People.”

Deafcon – also called defense readiness condition – is an alert used by the U.S. military to indicate how quickly the military can deploy during deadly emergencies and attacks.

When asked about his rant by British TV host Piers Morgan, West issued a half-hearted apology, stating that he was only talking about Jews who he believed had done him wrong.

He apologized to “the families of the people who had nothing to do with the trauma I experienced,” but said he “absolutely” had no regrets about the tirade.

More recently, he was accused of making anti-Semitic comments against his former business partner Alex Klein.

Klein claimed that West was accused of being like all other Jews after turning down a $10 million deal to continue working with him.

Klein told a BBC documentary crew: ‘Kanye was very angry, you know he said ‘I feel like I want to hit you’ and ‘you’re just like the other Jews’ – almost reveling and reveling in how insulting he was could be, using these phrases in the hope of hurting me’.

He added that West, a former presidential hopeful, said he believed Jews were working together to stop him.
