Lorraine showed off the results of her hard work as she posed in a figure-hugging pink dress on her Instagram in November, where she looked sensational.

She posed up a storm in the chic number that she paired with matching shoes, as well as sharing a previous weight loss before the snap while eating pizza.

In June, Lorraine praised her weight loss for bringing her “joie de vivre” back and enriching her relationship with husband Steve Smith.

The broadcaster signed up for WW in an attempt to lose a few pounds after steadily gaining weight during lockdown and after Christmas, and has gone from 11lbs 10lbs to 10lbs 3lbs since January.

And the breakfast TV legend claims her self-esteem has gotten a boost while she’s lighter.

Making changes: In June, Lorraine praised her 1.5-stone weight loss for restoring her “zest for life” and enriching her relationship with husband Steve Smith (pictured left after her weight loss and right at November 2021)

she told the Mirror: ‘It has made life so much easier. I know I wasn’t the only one who gained weight from the pandemic. I think many of us ate comfortably.

‘I’ve certainly got my zest for life back. It has improved my confidence tremendously. I feel like I can take on anything right now.

Lorraine said she started to enjoy chocolate and a glass of wine during lockdown, with the amount of sweets she consumed increasing to ‘huge’ amounts by the end of the week, and for breakfast she would eat croissants or scones.

On the cause of his WW start, he said: ‘It was a combination of things. I definitely overindulged on Christmas, as we all do. I was finding that a size 14 was too tight for me.’

While she stated that there was nothing wrong with being a size 16, she added that she did not want to reach that dress size personally, saying that her “fighting weight” is a size 10.

Lorraine said she relished the opportunity to wear a smaller dress at the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards 2022 earlier this year, and felt much more confident about presenting an award, as she wasn’t as concerned about how looked or felt.

And she said her weight loss has reinvigorated her relationship with her husband Steve.

Above: The presenter also said her relationship with her husband Steve has been enriched since their weight loss (pictured after receiving her CBE at Windsor Castle in December 2021)

She explained: ‘Steve says, ‘I’ve got you back,’ because my energy levels have improved. I’m up for things now, whereas before, on the weekends, I’d do some housework and then collapse in front of the TV.

Lorraine added that Steve likes to be a part of the healthier kitchen and adds recipes to his menu as he goes along.

And, while she admits the couple may have a party but aren’t planning on renewing their wedding vows for their 30th anniversary in September, she’d be back in her wedding dress.
