Logan Paul has admitted to battling suicidal thoughts in 2022 when his crypto video game became embroiled in a $2.3 million scandal amid fraud allegations.

“For the first time in my life I had thoughts of suicide,” Logan told entrepreneur Graham Bensinger as part of a documentary about himself. “I just spiraled, Graham. Spiral shaped. I was crying, like I was sobbing.”

Paul was so upset that he missed the chance to meet his girlfriend’s father while the couple were on holiday in her native Denmark.

“I felt weak, which is unusual for me,” he said. “I’m supposed to be the leader.”

The documentary, titled ‘5 Months with Logan Paul’, will be released later this month and will cover all aspects of the former YouTube star’s diverse interests, including wrestling, business and his young boxing career.

It also covers his experience with CryptoZoo – a project he launched in 2021, but which was met with controversy a year later when YouTuber Coffeezilla produced a three-part docuseries accusing Paul and his company of scamming users.

The game was supposed to allow users to purchase basic egg NFTs that would watch and grow into animal NFTs, which could then be a bread and butter with other NFTs.

To earn $ZOO tokens, the game’s currency, users must hatch eggs.

Unfortunately, the game did not work as intended and later became the subject of a class action lawsuit.

Paul, who has denied defrauding anyone, has pointed the finger at the makers of the games. But despite insisting he is not at fault, he has offered a $2.3 million buyback program to resolve the issue.

“I’m going to take care of the people who gave me the impression that this was a scam perpetrated by me,” Paul said. “I didn’t make any damn money, mate. I lost half a million dollars because of this.”

When asked how he dealt with the scandal, Paul pointed to his fiancée, Nina Agdal.

“I am so blessed to have Nina in my life,” Paul said.

Paul will make his WrestleMania debut next month in Philadelphia, where he is expected to face Randy Orton.
