Liverpool fans are divided after an agreement was reached with Feyenoord to make Arne Slot the Reds’ new manager.
The Reds have agreed a compensation package for Slot as Klopp’s successor.
Klopp, who has been in charge of Liverpool since 2015, announced in January that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Earlier this week, Slot expressed his wish to be appointed manager of Liverpool.

A Liverpool fan expressed his belief that Slot’s playing style suits Liverpool.
They wrote: ‘I’m so excited to have a coach who will coach positive attacking football with principles that ensure we are in control of the games. That is all I want and I believe that Slot’s football will please so many players in this team.’
Another supporter drew parallels between Klopp’s appointment and Slot’s arrival.
They wrote: ‘The same people who voted for Jurgen Klopp also voted for Arne Slot. Klopp has built a strong, young squad that is ready to succeed. We will miss Klopp, but the new era is exciting too!’.
Meanwhile, another fan added that Slot is a “sly” arrangement.
They said, ‘Excited for our next chapter. Arne Slot is a smart appointment, supported by a coherent and uniform structure.
‘It goes without saying that the culture at Liverpool Football Club is special; as fans we play our own role in his success.
‘Trust the process.’
However, one Chelsea fan warned Liverpool will ‘become a normal club again’ once Klopp leaves.
While a football fan wrote: ‘From Jurgen Klopp, 4* aura, to Arne Slot, -aura. What a fall from grace man.’
