Lindsay Hubbard gives birth! Summer House star welcomes first child and reveals sweet baby name

Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard has officially become a mother and welcomed her first child, a beautiful daughter.

‘She’s here!! Gemma Britt Kufe,” the 38-year-old reality star shared via Instagram on Sunday, alongside an adorable photo of herself and her boyfriend Dr. Turner Kufe gently holding their newborn baby’s tiny hands.

Hubbard, who revealed her pregnancy in July, had kept her boyfriend’s identity private until recently, when Page Six confirmed that Dr. Turner Kufe is the father.

In October, she made headlines again and announced that she and Kufe will not initially live together after the birth of their baby.

This milestone comes after a dramatic chapter in Lindsay’s life.

Last year, her engagement to Summer House co-star Carl Radke came to a sudden halt when he called off their wedding in August – just a few months before they were set to wed in November 2023.

Lindsay said in an August 29 appearance on the Housewives nightcap podcast that she and Kufe continue to live in separate homes in New York City and that she “didn’t even think about moving in with him” during the pregnancy.

“We live so close together in New York, literally within blocks,” Hubbard said. ‘We are on the same street.

“And once the baby comes, I’m sure he’ll be there every night because he’s obsessed with her and doesn’t want to miss anything from her.”

Hubbard said that “if the timing is right” in their “relationship, we might move in together.”

Hubbard said she and Kufe were taking things “one step at a time” amid the busy time, and that living together may have added to the stress.

“I obviously didn’t want to put any more pressure on this relationship, which already comes with being pregnant and having a baby puts a lot of pressure on a new relationship,” Hubbard said. ‘So I took away all the outside pressure. And it works for us.’

Hubbard said on the podcast that she was in one of the rooms of her Manhattan home putting together a girls’ daycare center.

In September 2023, Lindsay’s engagement to Summer House co-star Radke came to an abrupt halt, weeks before what was meant to be their big day.

Hubbard, who revealed her pregnancy in July, had kept her boyfriend’s identity private until recently, when Page Six confirmed that Dr. Turner Kufe is the father.

Now she says about where she is in life: ‘It is very special to enter this new chapter of my life and start a family. Especially because our daughter has nieces nearby that she can play with and also call her family.’

The star also discussed the complex aftermath of her canceled wedding to Radke, and how much money she lost in the process.

The reality star opened up about the bills the former couple still had to pay after 39-year-old Carl called off their wedding last year, and how they dealt with lawyers over the money, as she appeared on the TV show. Not skinny but not fat podcast on Tuesdays.

Lindsay stated that she told their wedding planners that it was Carl’s job to arrange for the event to be canceled.

“I texted my wedding planner and the two wedding planners — like, one who handled the hotel and reservations and one who handled all the vendors and the actual planning — and I said, please don’t communicate with me about this. she said.

‘I told them that I had absolutely no idea what the consequences of the wedding would be. Like, you canceled this, put on your big boy pants and figured it out yourself.”

She told her planners, “You can communicate with Carl as this was his decision. And whatever he did, that’s his business.”

Lindsay said that before the cancellation, she had lost about “$25,000 to $30,000 in wedding deposits.”

‘Now he had to pay a lot of cancellation fees, especially because he had waited so long to cancel the wedding.

“And you know, the longer you wait with the hotel and the rooms, the less money you’ll get back if you cancel the wedding,” she added.

The star shared that once the ceremony reaches 90 days, “you will be responsible for 50 percent of the rooms.”

She was then asked if she wanted Carl to pay her back the money she lost, to which she replied, “Yes, we had to deal with a lot… There were a lot of discussions with lawyers.
