Two weeks after saying “I do,” Lily Rose and Daira Eamon flashed their wedding rings as they walked their first red carpet as newlyweds at the 2023 CMT Music Awards at the Texas Moody Center in Austin on Sunday.
‘We’ve been riding high, to say the least. We are so thankful, it’s amazing,” said the 29-year-old country singer. Eastern Time on Sunday.
‘When we finally got to the [Bridge Building in Nashville] and I saw that all our 17-month preparation had just paid off: it was incredible. It was incredible.’
Lily’s blushing girlfriend, 28, who works as a sales/marketing specialist for Leapfrog Technology Group, had some advice for other engaged couples: ‘Don’t stress. Enjoy the moment and everything will fall into place.
Rose (last name Williamson) then chimed in: “It goes by so fast, and it’s so easy to get drunk on your wedding day, regardless of what people say.”

The Atlanta native and Daira, who began their romance in 2018 before getting engaged in 2021, enjoyed a mini-honeymoon in Charleston, South Carolina, but hope to have a longer honeymoon in 2024.
Lily couldn’t take her hands or lips off of Eamon, who dove in a black blazer-like dress and thigh-high cowboy boots.
Rocking a $40 Nuthin’ Fancy Collection ‘Plain Jane Snapback’, Rose wore a brown suede jacket over a black top, matching jeans and snakeskin cowboy boots.
The self-taught musician began her career in 2008, went viral on TikTok in 2021 with her song Villain, and the CMTs marked her television debut.
‘I’m just thankful [and] honored to be doing it. It’s wild. I still can’t believe it. don’t have [the] words,’ said Lily.
‘[My new song Whatcha Know About That] It’s one of my favorites to play with my band. I’m really excited to do something that feels comfortable, so it’s a lot of energy and we’re excited.
Rose is scheduled to perform this Tuesday at Florida’s Clay County Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs.
