Superstar: Music bosses are making a bold bid to bring Beyoncé to the BRIT Awards next month, MailOnline can reveal

She has been to The BRIT before and sees the event as a key moment on the music calendar and a way to connect with her European fanbase.

“It’s common for some of the biggest acts that take place at the ceremony to be finalized days before, so a deal is still being negotiated and could go all the way.”

“But there’s been a huge push to get her to the ceremony and for her to perform would be the absolute dream setting.”

A source added: “The ceremony schedule is closed, so if Beyoncé were to perform, a shake-up would be necessary, but it’s more likely that she’ll be there as a guest.”

MailOnline has contacted the BRITs and Beyoncé’s spokesperson for comment.
