LeAnn Rimes posted her shocking assessment of the iconic Australian spread Vegemite on social media on Friday.
The American singer, 41, who was recently Down Under to film new series of The Voice Australia, shared a clip on Instagram of herself slamming the sandwich staple.
Rimes and her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, are seen opening a jar of Vegemite and then making a disgusted face as they try it for the first time.
She then shared a video responding to criticism that they weren’t eating Vegemite correctly, and she didn’t hold back when she revealed what she thought about it.
“Eddie and I decided that if you eat a bite of peanut butter out of a jar, it still tastes like OJ, it still tastes good,” she began.

‘But if you have to justify how to eat Vegemite – with butter and a very thin layer on toast – then something is wrong.’
Her Rosewood star husband Eddie, 50, then added his own thoughts: “If you have to cut the Vegemite with something, you know it’s not good.”
LeAnn and Eddie met on the set of the Lifetime television movie Northern Lights in 2008.

They were both married to other people at the time and ended their relationship to be together a year later.
The couple then tied the knot in an intimate wedding at home in California in April 2011.
They initially denied rumors that they were having an affair, but have spoken openly about it in the years since their wedding.

LeAnn was recently filming in Sydney after being confirmed as the newest member of The Voice Australia coaching panel in a major show shake-up.
She is one of three new faces joining as mentors, with only Guy Sebastian returning from the previous line-up.
LeAnn is joined on the coaching panel by Grammy-nominated singer Adam Lambert, Australian songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke and returning mentor Guy.
