Leah Remini and her ex Angelo Pagan have almost finalized their divorce.
The former couple signed a settlement at the end of last week, which, according to the judge, only required a final signature from the judge TMZ.
Divorce documents show that Remini, 54, and Pagan, 56, were able to reach a settlement with the help of a mediator and without attorneys present.

Remini’s divorce filing came just weeks after her girlfriend Jennifer Lopez ended her marriage to Ben Affleck. Just like Lopez did in her divorce from Affleck, Remini filed the divorce papers without the help of an attorney.
According to the documents, Remini and Pagán divorced on August 1. They cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, according to documents obtained by People.
Remini, who played Carrie Heffernan on The King of Queens from 1998 to 2007, and Pagán released a joint statement via Instagram last month confirming that their marriage had ended.
“Well, here we are,” Remini and Pagán said in the August 29 statement. ‘After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce.

Remini and Pagán said they experienced a wave of different emotions when they announced their breakup.
“We are proud of how we got through this together,” they said. “Yes, we’re sad, and we still have some figuring out to do as we move forward into our new normal — still together in many ways, and apart in some new ones.”
They said they had “both changed, as people do” and were “used to playing roles that no longer suited us.”
Remini and Pagán said their “bond is still strong,” but “it just evolved into something else,” adding that their “marriage was a great success.”
The estranged couple, who initially crossed paths in 1996 and married seven years later, mentioned their past projects together in their statement.
“We want to be as transparent as possible here because we have shared our marriage so publicly for years, whether it was on our specials on VH1 or on our reality show, which ran for two seasons on TLC,” Remini and Pagán said. .
They added: “We share this uncharted territory with all of you as we publicly take our first steps in this next phase of our lives.”
Remini and Pagán are parents to daughter Sofia Bella, 20, while he is father to three sons, Angelo Jr., Alex and Nico, from a previous relationship.
