Lawyers for Hunter Biden’s ‘sugar daddy’ Kevin Morris demand Republicans release ALL of his interview after he told Congress he STILL believes the president’s son will pay back the $5million loan

  • Attorney Bryan Sullivan wrote a letter to Supervisory Board Chairman James Comer accusing him of “partially and inaccurately leaking” his client’s statements
  • Hours after the interview, Republicans alleged that Morris had begun “paying Hunter Biden’s tax debt to isolate then-presidential candidate Joe Biden

The lawyers of Hollywood attorney and Hunter Biden cohort Kevin Morris attacked the Republicans leading the impeachment inquiry into Biden over “cherry-picking” evidence.

Hunter Biden, a recovering drug addict, accepted about $5 million in financial assistance from Morris for tax debts, housing and legal fees.

After Morris spoke to investigators on Capitol Hill on Thursday as part of the Republican Party’s impeachment inquiry, Republicans claimed he told them Hunter had no intention of paying back the massive loans.

But attorney Bryan Sullivan wrote a letter to oversight committee chairman James Comer accusing him of “partially and inaccurately leaking” his client’s statements.

“Not even two hours after we left Mr. Morris’s transcribed interview, you issued a press statement with cherry-picked, out-of-context, and completely misleading descriptions of what Mr. Morris said,” Sullivan wrote.

Hours after the transcribed interview, Comer and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan alleged that Morris had begun “paying Hunter Biden’s tax debt to shield then-presidential candidate Joe Biden from political liability” shortly after meeting him at a Joe Biden campaign event in 2019.

Republicans claimed in a statement that Morris said the loans would not have to be repaid until “after the next presidential election” and “may ultimately be forgiven.”

Morris’ attorney maintained that each of the loans his client made to Hunter had been reviewed by attorneys, had appropriate loan terms, such as interest and term, and that Morris expected Hunter to repay these loans.

It is not clear what relationship Morris plays in the Joe Biden impeachment inquiry. Investigators said he told them he met with the president three times and made a donation to Biden’s campaign.

Morris has testified repeatedly that he fully expected Mr. Hunter Biden to repay these loans, but he never said that that he would forgive the notes,” Morris’ attorney wrote.

Sullivan continued, “You stated that since Mr. Morris made the loans to Mr. Hunter Biden, he has had access to the Biden White House and spoke with President Biden, creating the impression there’s kind of a deeper relationship with President Biden.

This is intentional misleading. Mr. Morris testified that he had only cursory communication with him President Biden at public events such as the wedding of Mr. Biden’s daughter, and said basic pleasantries like “hello” and “how are you” and President Biden making comments about Mr. Morris’s unkempt hairdo that lasted a few minutes.’

Morris, a high-powered Los Angeles entertainment lawyer, has been a ubiquitous but quiet presence in Hunter Biden’s entourage, guiding the president’s son through his mounting legal troubles.

Morris is reportedly working with Hunter on a documentary about his recovery from crack cocaine addiction and was alongside him when he turned Congress into a circus last week with a shocking hearing performance.

Morris, who was seen smoking a hookah in his LA home this summer, was dubbed Hunter’s “sugar brother” after reportedly paying off millions in Hunter’s debts.

He also purchased at least $875,000 worth of Hunter’s amateur artwork.

Hunter’s art dealer George Berges told House GOP investigators that Morris paid just $300,000 for the art, valued at $875,000, and Morris kept the rest of the money as repayment of a loan from Hunter.

It was recently revealed that Hunter is filming a top-secret documentary with Morris to set the record straight about his battle with crack cocaine addiction and his financial problems.
