Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation Anniversary Tour has been cancelled without explanation.
On Tuesday, August 6, ticket holders who wanted to see the 49-year-old R&B singer and iconic hip-hop trio The Fugees received a letter stating that they would receive their money back.
Variety reported that the US tour dates have been removed from Ticketmaster.
Disappointed fans took to social media to vent their frustration over the lack of information regarding the last-minute change.
Someone with the handle @PLoJetson wrote on X: ‘IT’S SO HARDENING TO BE A LAURYN HILL FAN. Last October, an hour before the Dallas show, it was cancelled without warning. I tried again this time, even though EVERYONE made fun of me. [and said] I was stupid to try. Cancelled AGAIN. I love Lauryn, man. But goddammit, yo. DO BETTER.’

The 18-concert North American tour was scheduled to kick off Friday in Tampa, Florida.
In September, the program included the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey.
Other cities that were wiped out for no reason include Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and Milwaukee.
Tickets are still available for the overseas leg of the tour, which kicks off with a show in Manchester, England on October 12.
The festival ends on October 22 in Amsterdam and also includes shows in London and Paris.
It is not known whether these shows will also be cancelled.
Hill has not made the update on social media, posting his last message about the tour on June 24.

Hill’s last post on X was on the same day.
She wrote: ‘The party continues… Artist pre-sale begins Wednesday 6/26 at 10am local time with code MLH. Sales begin Friday 6/28 at 10am.’
It is the third year in a row that the group has canceled tours, causing grief among fans.
The reunion tour was initially announced in 2021, but was later postponed and cancelled in January 2022 due to COVID circumstances.
Lauryn’s last major performance was at the BET Awards in June.
