Lauren Phillips’ ex Lachlan Spark announces his engagement – just weeks after the KIIS FM star revealed she’s marrying private jet tycoon Paul O’Brien
Lachlan Spark has announced his engagement to Courtney Wynbergen just weeks after his ex, KIIS FM star Lauren Phillips, revealed she is about to tie the knot.
Lachlan shared the news with him via Instagram, thanking friends and followers for supporting the couple taking the next step.
“Many thanks to everyone who called and texted to congratulate us on the engagement,” he began.
“Courtney and I feel very loved and exceptionally grateful for the kindness.”
The pair appear to be vacationing in Italy, with Lachlan then sharing a joke about the luxury trip the pair are taking.

“I also feel quite fat and sunburnt and am exceptionally grateful for morning beers and mozzarella balls. That’s Amore,’ he finished.
Ex-wife Lauren announced her engagement to Paul O’Brien on her radio show in July, telling her co-host Jase Hawkins about their surprise proposal in Mykonos.
‘We went to Europe for the holidays. We had a few days in Rome just the two of us and I thought if he proposed it would have been just the two of us,’ she began.

“Then we went to Mykonos and met all our friends and it turned out I was the only person who didn’t know about it. He proposed to him in front of all our friends. I had no idea and the next moment he was on one knee.’
O’Brien heads the high-end aviation charter group AVMIN and has several celebrity clients, including Matt Damon, his wife Luciana Barroso, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky.
The notoriously private couple have been dating since early 2020 and now live together in Byron Bay.

Lauren and Lachlan had a train wreck marriage where the couple tied the knot in 2018 but split after just a year.
The couple were together for seven years before an acrimonious breakup saw them face each other in public.
After their breakup, Lachlan accused Lauren of “caring more about himself” during their relationship and said he wasted years of his life with the wrong person.
Lauren responded by saying she was “proud” of the way she handled the breakup — a not-so-subtle swipe at Lachlan for publicly criticizing her.
